There are a few here in the distance - 3 - 5 miles away - so I can only just see them and certainly can't here them. I hope the big Country House Hotel has them on Saturday - they do big fireworks all year for weddings etc and are usually very spectacular!

BUt listening to you lot makes me feel like I really do live in the middle of nowhere!!
blush.gif

Mind you when I lived in Birmingham the let fireworks off from Oct until the New Year!

The only reason we've got them is because the pub at the end of the road have decided to do a bonfire night!!!

The only other spectacular ones we get are when Warwick Castle is having a display, then we watch them, but they don't cause the same problems

Have just spoke to a friend on msn, she was one of my best friends at college, and I haven't seen her since I finished my course. (July 08) and have only spoke to her 2 or 3 times since.
I'm going to go through and visit her soon
laugh.gif
Just need to organise a date with her
smile.gif

No they won't swab here
crazy.gif
- just don't let you anywhere near the surgery etc Will never know if it was swine flu or a variant but is definately viral and deeply unpleasant!!
blush.gif
We also have strict guidelines from work about what we are expected to do in the event we get it - I obviously deleted the email as I didn't think I would get it - wrong!!

Evening All, I'm back
grin.gif

I'm watching the "World Trade Centre" Film on Film 4
frown.gif
Not sure why as anything to do with it always depresses me.. but going to new york has made me even more curious than before
crazy.gif

Evening all! I shall be living on crackers and cheese/beans on toast for awhile I think! But saddle is lovely, have noticed I think Kodak may be growing as he feels slightly downhill and higher at the back, good job we can adjust the saddle! He was fairly good, apart from being nappy.. where he tried to stop, buck and refuse to move
grin.gif
. (that was until I got my whip and just held it!) Any ideas on how to stop him being so nappy? I know a lot of it is patience, keeping them amused and changing a lot of things so they don't have the ability to "attach" to something nearby. Just wondered if there is any other way?
