weather is horrid, cleo looked miserable offered her to go in but no...so nevermind

weather is yuck isn't it, had to rush up to pony earlier to dry her off and put LW on, weather site did say dry here for us this morning

She did not want to leave the warm dry stable and was left sulking by her gateway with head down

Even mine seems to want to come in and that's virtually unheard of. She spent 2 weeks last year, in worse weather than this (and before I got her) refusing to catch so ended up being left in field for 2 weeks and got absolutely horrendous mud fever. Needless to say she's not getting that way this year, whether she likes it or not!

But now when I say hi in the morning and check her rug etc, she stands at the gate and doesn't walk away, but when I come back later she's grazing again. Don't think she'd be happy coming in overnight, despite hinting that she wants to come in

Pony has settled in very well, he seems to like the mini quite a bit! Popped off the trailer and promptly started munching, don't think he'll be too much trouble!

Hello everyone!!!

To all those with bad backs, a cold compress, peas etc wrapped in a towel for half an hour, then a hot water bottle for half an hour!!! It's horrible but it does help!! I suffer too, so I sympathise, get well soon!!

Snoopysue - great news about the foal!!!

Now you need to get the camera set up, as we are all foal addicts on here, and have been having withdrawal symptoms for ages!!!

Ooh it would take a long time to write!! Basically I had a bit of a petty falling out with my friend a week or so back, more or less a mis-understanding but there were other 'inputs,' etc. Anywho, had a bit of a waffle to someone who I thought I could call my friend about said person and my "friend" thought it would be HILARIOUS to tell this other person everything I said.

Evening! I'm back... pony loaded fine.. was a bit kicky initially (ie double barelling the wall between me and her), but settled once we were on the motorway there's no damage to the box.

He looks like he has settled in really well! How old/big is he?

I've just got back from work, managed to do some jumping with Charlie whilst there (I do work hard at times honest!), I was really pleased with him, he didn't refuse or knock any (before his time off he was nappy, refusing and knocking them all

Well Max has been to the vet and I now have to squeeze stuff in his eyes twice a day for the next 10 days - trying to get it in the eye of an eel would be easier..........

HC - Kodak is a 5year old 14.2hh skewbald gelding, probably Connemara X, but has no papers. He has a really lovely temperament, and has been cubbing, x country schooling, hacking, showing, and clear round jumping. He has been bought by P_P as she doesn't really jump, and he gave her so much confidence when she jumped him

The woman who sold him, gave P_P some gorgeous laminated photos of him, doing these things, and they are now plastered on her bedroom wall!!

I just hope that he turns out to be all that she expects, and that he is happy with us
