Talking about on or near Remembrance Sunday, I can't do the weekend of the 8th as we are hosting a big trial and there is no way I can get out of it but any time after that should be fine.

H4H emailed me back, they think this sounds like a great idea! So now we have to register it on their website. They can provide sponsor forms too.

I suggest we do one big justgiving site, I have never made one before so don't know how this works? Any voluteers to create one?

So I am going to register on the H4H site now, how exciting and also a little scary!

Once I've done that, I'll put this post onto NL, Soapbox and CR.

We could maybe keep it fluid, as one weekend might not suit everyone? Like I say, the weekend of the 8th is right out for me, although I will probably cover it while running around amongst other people's dogs

Rather than confining ourselves to one date, lets say that November is the month, around Remembrance Day but as long as it's in November that's fine

I am going to set an initial target of £1000 although lets aim for more! We can always raise it when we see how it's going!

That's probably the best idea, I'm sure I'll be able to find one weekend in November or even do two little walks instead.

And then have a final date for donations at the end of November?

If you ask H4H nicely they will send you all sorts of sign-up sheets, banners, stickers and so forth by the way. I'll have to do my walk in my H4H rugby shirt.

I think that the majority of people I will ask to sponsor me will not like/be able to/etc use the Just Giving site.

If I use old fashioned standard sponsorship forms - do I collect all the money up, pay it into my own bank account and then pay the site the same money? I don't want anyone to think I am doing something dodgy!!
