THINK......AND I MEAN THINK ABOUT THIS

I agree. I thought that in the first instance but didn't feel much like saying it.

I have a friend with fields full of unwanted, badly trained, messed up horses. If she didn't have these guys I expect they would be in a can by now.

I think we ALL need to be more responsible. It isn't just dodgy breeding and/or dodgy training.

Umm, another thread dediated to slate Jamie Gray.

Well well, do you people not have anything better to do?

[/ QUOTE ]

Serious question, why have you chosen to bump up a thread that is 4 months old berating those who are against the particular subject?

oi, numbnuts...I, as in JM07, am the OP on this thread.....

not once, on this thread, or ANY other thread have i knocked/slated Mr J. Grey.

i have seen him several times at the same horse/pony sales as myself..infact i've even outbid him/his representatives for stock..some of that stock i myself have taken to the Abbatoir.

JG has a service to offer the "horseworld" as a whole...crap horses/ponies dont just live out their days in the great grazing pasture of dreams...they end up dead at best, and passed around from sale to sale, at worst.

so no, "I" for one am NOT slating Mr JG at all!!!!

Thank you!

I was going through some of the older threads and came upon this one. The title is rather enticing, yet not very telling.

After reading several posts I thought to myself, even within a thread with a title such as this, Jamie Gray has once again been slated.

And since I have been addressed as being a Jamie Gray supporter I thought I would comment.

Problem?

Whilst I'd appriciate if you didn't refer to my good self as 'numbnuts', I am indeed sorry, and believe I should have mentioned that yourself and a few others were infact fair in your comments. Maybe I worded things incorrectly. Please accept my sincere apologies.

Thank you, JM07.

no worries.......

i dont own, and never have owned, a rose coloured pair of specs when it comes to horses/ponies..

That's very good to hear, seeing that no one actually know's if this man is guilty or not. Logic does not serve the reports justice.

i have an open mind about this.....

as i buy and sell ponies i cannot see the logic in Mr JG having animals on his property, just to "starve" to death...where is the commercial gain???

he would have been better off taking or geting in the meat waggon....

to me, none of it adds up....but then, i'm looking at it from a commercial venture....much the same as JG...And believe me, i know just how difficult it is to shift deadstock over a Bank Holiday period!!!!!

May I ask why you believe they should have been PTS?

[/ QUOTE ]

Me????

if i was to answer this coming from a totally moneytary/personal gain situation.

i would PTS because the animals would accrue solid money |(guarenteed)

BUT, having said that, if the Animals were allowed to go to Auction, bearing in mind the publicity these animals have received and the "aaah factor" and the "i want to "rescue" these poor ponies from this evil dealer"...i might be of the mind to put them through yet anther market, just to get over the market value for them!!!

joe public are the best to sell to, in general..............

Okay, I understand where you are coming from. That said, I am not a dealer so I would be more inclined to give them a chance (a soppy softy I know
frown.gif
). However, we do not know for sure if these animals were only good for meat. Wasn't it reported that some of the animals were healthy pets? I would be heartbroken if an organization came along and PTS any of my pets. Infact, I would be outraged.

Ahh.... JG...he's the one we shouldn't pass comment on in case we jeopardise his trial.............. isn't he??

Careful, anyone who hasn't yet twigged.............

I don't want to sound rude, but how on earth is it possible for us to jeopardise his trial?

This place isn't BBC news or the Sun, Mirror, News of the world, etc. It's just a little forum. No one is saying anything that the world has not already been told.

If you go into the H&H archives you'll see they report things about Jamie Gray. Are they jeopardising the trial?
