Well, since all registered horses in Spain are microchipped it would be very easy to see if it is indeed the same horse, and verify the age.
Oh, and many horses do piaffe in the pillars before they are ridden, it strengthens the back and gets horses light in front. Have you ever ridden a (properly trained) Spanish horse?
Yes I would be very interested to see which is actually the right horse! Can't help thinking there must be something dodgy going on though.

I have and he was an absolute dream. I have also ridden some not well trained ones that the owner says is a schoolmaster, can do this, that and the other and I actually found that nothing felt "correct" at all.

Spanish horses can often give a very different feel to other horses (specifically WB's), and of course there are plenty of poorly trained and ridden ones out there as well (and training wears off if not maintained). Their movement and use of the back is not the same as a warmbloods'.

@Emma_1994 I know someone who is thinking of selling a beautiful buckskin approx 15.3hh five year old gelding. She is Spanish and has brought the horse over from Spain herself. He’s a very lovely character, very friendly and sweet and has beautiful paces. Will be seriously competitive for dressage. PM me if you think you’d be interested. She is in Warwickshire.

Have you had a bad experience with them ?
They don't sell the sort of Iberian horse I would buy, I do know some people that haven't had the best experience with them.

If you are very experienced in buying horses and know what you're looking for, give it a go. If it is your first Iberian horse I would be cautious.

Jadie, I seem to have a PM from you but no ability to reply to it. I’m not sure why!

My friend’s buckskin is available and has only just been advertised. I think she has posted on the Spanish Horses UK only page.
