I don’t usually get too excited about show jumping but that jump off had me on the edge of my seat, well done Ben and Scott and lovely to see Matt go so well …

Fantastic coverage by the BBC this afternoon. Fabulous jumping and awesome result. Love all three of our British riders in the jump off.
Back to the less good coverage on H&C tonight, it’s a bit soulless, but thrilled they have restored th Fancy Dress relay. It used to be the star of the show back in the day!

Grumpy Old Lady moment: I really miss the days of my youth when the BBC showed Olympia etc every night it was on for at least an hour and included stuff like the Shetland Grand National and the displays. It was always a special treat to be allowed to stay up late to watch.

hilariously, in the middle of the game, someone knocked at the door, he thought it was the takeaway, no it was someone to tell him Santa was in the street (someone comes round on a "sleigh" for charity).teapot

Years ago, Eurosport used to cover every night from start to finish and do loads of backstage stuff and interviews aswell. I loved it.
It’s never been the same since that stopped.

I was there live today to watch the world cup jumping and the jump off was one of the best I have ever seen! It was so exciting and the crowd atmosphere was amazing!

I'm going up to the show again today and I will be found in the champagne bar as we are all getting the train, the only downside is getting up very early to do the horses.
