Right then chaps, this was inevitable, so as times are due out today I thought I would set the ball rolling :D

Whose going?

I have Murphy running early in the ON on Friday morning but sadly had to withdraw Billy from the BE90 as I'm still not happy with his jumping so want to fix it at home. The good news is that another HHOer has taken my slot (Hoorah for HHO!) so I think I may pop along on Sunday for a social anyway ;-)

I have managed to pick up a nasty chest infection so off to the docs shortly to dose myself up on antibiotics, fingers crossed they do the trick...

I'm also going on Thursday to walk the course and watch the big guns so if anyone fancies joining me then let me know! Will be organising it around WFP's times on Oslo as going with a friend who has a share in him which is great fun!

Anyway, enough of my rambling, and BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE! Stay safe and keep us all posted with how you get on :D
 
Hi - will be there as owner rather than competitor sadly but have part ownership of a horse competing against you (no412 I think) but I won't be there on Fri so good luck but don't try too hard :). Then another 3 on sat in PN...fingers crossed for everyone....
 
We're there on Friday with one in ON and another in the novice - a nice sunny day would be lovely!
 
I will be there on Sunday to watch my friends in the 90..!If you see someone with 3 staffords and possibly a dalmatian, then say hello, it will be me!

Star - you must be two horses after me in the dressage as I'm on at 8.54 in your section :)
 
I'm going to come along and watch on thursday and either sat or sun also.
I keep my ponies down the road so have been watching the area being set up and prepared as I drive past.
I have to say, I am too much of a wuss to attempt any of those jumps (even though I think my girlie, 14.1 Haffie, would happily take them on :eek: )

It would be nice to say hello to other HHO members if I see any of you :D
 
I'm there on Saturday, section P dressage just before 12.30 so quite a leisurely start for first event of the season.
Shame the weather doesn't look like its going to be as nice as the last few days.

Yup, that would be right if you took Lex's place. They love putting us in the same section. Look out for the bright orange one with big white stocking, most likely having a nap attack at being asked to leave the warmup!
 
Thanks for the photos,it looks an intersting course. I might go and watch tomorrow if it is not pouring. The forecast doesn't look too good though
 
Not riding but dressage stewarding tomorrow pm and fence judging Friday so good luck everyone and please don't 'dismount' at my fence as I hate filling in fall report forms!!
 
I am still on the waitlist for the novice, dont seem to have been many withdrawals :(
Sadly i dont think I will get a run so very jealous of you all, have fun!!

hmm... don't think Tweseldown have been very good about waitlisting. Found someone who couldn't do the 90 with a lame horse, another person who wanted to take his place and they won't do it...
 
Ps, how long did it take you to walk it? I've got 1hr 20 mins between dressage and sj but don't want to get too worn out running the course if it's long :(
 
Ah gutted wish I'd entered there now instead of Munstead, the 90 course looks really nice, I was worried it wouldn't be a good one to do first time out from seeing previous courses.

Hi Clarew22, I have just sent off my entry for the UA event on 14th April :-/ ( getting all nervous now!!)
New course looks OK, so I am hoping it will be very similar when we go round :-)

good luck at Munstead !!

I was hoping it would be a sunny day because I'd have come along and taken loads of photos as Im running low on decent pictures to paint, but it's not looking very pleasant so I'll wait for some better weather I think!
