OP, assumed you have read all the replies to your post?
I wondered if you have any feedback? Was this what you were expecting? If not what did you expect?
Have the replies bothered you or made you feel differently at all about the situation?
Been busy with work :) not at all actually- I forgot to add that we have land at home mr dog was exercised on each day for 1+ hours

OP, I'm confused....
You previously stated last month that you have 3 acres at home, you were asking about keeping donkeys ....
You have 2 horses but you dont keep them at home...
You have a dog but you dont walk it.....

Any other things you need to add?
10 acres total, 7 are woodland which we can’t use ( hence why I only stated 3 before!!!)

I bought him shortly before the first lockdown (whoops) so I couldn’t exactly walk him when I was already exercising a horse (felt a bit guilty) and I later chose not to take him out as he was so big and powerful.

We excised him every day on our land, Playing games etc on 10 acres so we were more than happy :)

Confusing, isn't it, OP?

I have seen a very small number of them doing working dog sports, but purebred, not cross. I don't know if they can compete in big competitions as it would be a bit of an H&S risk for a decoy to catch a dog of that size.
I did see a cross in at the vets once when I was in with my own dog, over ten years ago, cut to ribbons after an altercation with something I assume had very sharp claws

Danes are no longer used as a working breed. The original Great Dane was a heavier set, more mastiff type bred primarily to hunt wild boar.
Although still traditionally classed as a working group breed they are big soft wusses ???

The continental style ones are still pretty chunky, ours isn't tall but is 78kg. My OH calls him barrel chested compared to the more usually seen whippet chested as if they're official terms but I have no idea if those terms are actually used by anyone else :D

Lived to nearly 13, and didn't exactly have a life that you'd expect to lead to longevity, amazing, and will share with the Dane group we know.

Dane crosses are tricky, you often get the worst of both. And there are some REALLY badly bred Danes out there of course. Our 78kg lad in his prime:
