Vet is still with us so just quick update.
Foal very dehydrated so on a drip and had a jab to fight infection.
Vet says foal is a little colt around 4 months. He is just writing feeding times and instructions. He is very poorly but vet agreed worth a chance but next few hours critical.
He thinks his leg is severe ballarenia toe (am sure he said that).
If he survives the night a stud vet will come first thing. If we are worried and that is an understatement we to call him straight back and he will likely pts
I hope all that means we are doing the right thing trying to save him have never heard of his leg condition
