Weekend plans for 24th & 25th?

Aw thank you!

Still based Leics but drove down with a friend. We are planning on going again so can do a meet up if you wanted! We started roughly around the chilton area :)

I know that area well! I'm a bit further west at Uffington but would love to meet up if you are down this way again. It sounds like a long drive for a hack :)

Thank you. Appreciate the support.

My OH did video them - but in true comedy style messed up in both tests! In the first he kept stopping it and in the second he switched on SLO-mo. I was showing my trainer (don’t have sheets back) and we both laughed when it went into slow motion.

.

Oh dear- re videoing ?

Well hopefully the test sheets will be helpful and if not chalk it up to judge having got out of wrong side of bed or possibly a severe attack of constipation :p

I've loved reading everyone's posts and looking at the pics. It's great to have some sunshine but we do need some rain, everywhere is so hard! I fell foul of the 2nd vaccination syndrome! Got up Saturday and didn't feel great but as we had three house viewings in the afternoon I went over to see Rose being ridden and then followed that up with giving her a good bath. She looked stunning and I was so knackered I went to sleep in the car until I could go home to bed. Spent Sunday in bed but sharer took Rose for her first hack for three months and she loved it, she behaved immaculately and was just a really happy little horse. This morning I felt fine, it's the start of the 4th week of trot work, Rose is so pleased to be back in work. She's in front of the leg, soft and using her backend but she still gets a little swelling in her hock just in front of the knee which does worry me a bit so I've messaged vet to ask for advice, do we press on or step back?

I love exploring! We saw next to no one so it was perfect. And no gates (although Rooni is fantastic at them).

For sure, we’ve said we will go back over summer! We can always park your way.

When I was training to do the full Ridgeway on Pocholo I regularly did 20 miles or so over the downs and wouldn’t see another horse. It’s amazingly quiet considering the fantastic hacking available!

You could park at my yard though I’m not sure we’re fit enough to keep up with you ?

Course hire was AMAZING!

Our first outing together, and my first time jumping a full course in probably about 5 years... Pony was exceptionally behaved, he gets rather excited showjumping at home and we have a small arena which can be difficult, however here I could channel his excitement into a much more forward canter which he was far better to jump off of.

Did some offset doubles, doglegs and even a scary water tray and he was fantastic! It was quite a technical course set up and I was apprehensive to start with but had nothing to worry about. Don’t think the huge grin is going to be leaving my face for a while..!

Bit late to the party but I took my 3yo out on Sunday.

She was amazing as always, placed really well in some big classes. She was the only placed filly in her 3yo class too so I was super pleased with that!

Here’s some spam just because I love her.
