Weekend Plans

Well done MP! I didn't realise Pet Plans were a multi round thing? I thought it was a case of get enough sheets for an area, go to area, qualify for nationals? Whats the next step for you guys?

Alarm went off a 4am for the 2hr30 trek to Aston for the next leg of the AT classic series. I wrote loads but cannot put into words just how awesome she was <3 It was luxury having dressage on a surface Ruby obviously approved and posted a fab 24 to go into 3rd with only a handful of sub 30's. Clear showjumping (even when i royally stuffed it to the last!). XC she was just amazing <3 we always get time faults so I decided as we were in contention i had to land and go - what i didn't take into account was the fact that there are NO hills at Aston for natural slowing down - so we ended up coming in 26 seconds under the time and thus added 4.4 to our dressage score. Still enough to hold onto 3rd, i am just over the moon with her. Overtime I step up the question, she just SMASHES it - we have our BE debut in a fortnight so hopefully we can recreate this and maybe post a RF qual before 1st july ;) ?

v nice, Scats! Very sweet looking.

Wash out weekend for me - torrential rain flooded our pitch so polocrosse training cancelled. Did a bit of jump training with Dae and some skills practice at home with Fergs, and hacked both today. But nothing exciting.

Well done FfW! My baby mare handled things really well - standing chilled at the trailer and taking the marching band and bouncy castles and lots of other trailers and ponies in her stride. We had some napping in our novice ridden class when we passed the ring entry point and missed our left canter but we came away with a first, a reserve champion (in hand) and 5th in a large novice ridden. Not at all bad and a positive experience.

Fab result LP and well deserved.
Sounds like some demons are being conquered FW?
Well done everyone else :D :D

ah those would be the olden days, you are speaking of.
This year there are first rounds from now til the end of August, top 10 over the qualifying score go through to 2nd rounds in the autumn. And from there, an unknown quantity qualify for Hartpury in April.

Next for us? Well (shhhhh) Millie has a show tomorrow. But for Kira, probably another first round at the end of June just for experience, and then possibly have a look at having a stab at AM as she's got one sheet. Could possibly do Mount Ballan in July or else Hartpury in August. Depends on what Millie's up to. And fitting it in round Ele silver regionals in August. Busy!

Ah and for 2nd round, well not a lot until October.
