Lesson this evening and probably SJ comp on Sunday .
Following on from the thread about the bad motorway accident, I ordered 3 popup cones and an led hazard triangle - which will stay in the tow vehicle
Have a good weekend everyone
Good choice! Yes the triangle is bright and sturdy.Snap!! I got 2 cones and the triangle, pleased with both. The triangle is small but mighty ! Obv hope never to need it but I feel a bit better prepared if I do ?

3 cones was perhaps OTT but never mind.
Horse looks very smart @rara007
This was the one I boughtCould anyone point me in the direction of that triangle and cones, please? I had the misfortune to break down on a dual carriageway slip road last month and really wish I'd had something.
Not really Dolly's day at Frickley BE90 today. An average but ok 34.5 dressage and clear SJ meant they were reasonably placed going into XC. She was clear well within the time a few weeks ago at Frickley but today she felt a bit flat. She often loses a bit of sparkle when her coat is chaging but has been flying recently in training. But today she just ran out of energy towards the end and was nursed home with 11 time faults and also had a stop at a big fence straight after the water. She had dropped to trot (as she often does in water - that's one area she likes to have a little think about) so approached in trot and did not have enough oomph to jump uphill out of trot. So 20 pens too.
So we will give her a few days off and see if she bounces back. She nornally does very quickly when this happens, so fingers crossed.
Millie went a bit flat last week, I was verging on getting worried, then there was hair coming out everywhere and I realised it’s coat change time. She was the same last year.
She had a few days off this week and I hacked her yesterday- she pinged around for the 45minutes we were out so I think she’s feeling a bit more like herself.
That's reassuring! The first year I panicked and got the vet out but now we know that she loses some form for a short period every year. But it is unpredictable when it happens. Last year it was not till October. I've bought some ProPell which I hope will help.

Woo well done for frillies thats a great day.Oh no Roxylola, you bruised? How careless of you lol, seriously, hope all ok x
Had a very busy day out, frillies in every class with a good clutch of 2nds and a reserve champ in the WHP classes, plus de noviced by winning novice ridden class. Absolutely shattered, bet B must be too, but she was giving her all in everything.
Is it bed time yet?
Michen Snap. The horse was obviously exhausted and I’m surprised it got as far as far as it did and there was another male rider that I pulled off at my jump because he’d had 4 faults and the horse was also tired. I judged all day yesterday as well and while there were some chubby looking horses there were none as tired as those two today. I found the 100 class a bit scary, so many of the horses leapt into the water with riders ever so slightly out of control yet they somehow managed to scramble over the last part. I’m not sure it was tiredness causing horses to clunk so many fences though, many riders were coming into my combination far to fast and hitting the jump all wrong, very few rode quietly or sympathically, it was kick kick kick, haul them up a few strides out then kick again. Poor horses were clearly confused.
