What do you eat and how healthy is it?

Chocolate Slimfast for breakfast 8am

Chocolate Slimfast for lunch 12.30

4pm doughnut:D

6.30 dinner, maybe something like pork chops roast potatoes & veggies, followed by a pudding of strawberries & cream

Later in the evening,a bar of chocolate.

Corneflakes for breakfast (eggs on a weekend)

Lunch is either a sandwich, or what ever is left from tea day before (nothing on a weekend as breakfast is somewhere around 12 ish after riding) oh luch is always with fruit and a breakfast fibre bar :)

Tea, can be anything from home cooked fish and chips (all in oven) to curry what ever we feel like cooking at the time, never ping food :)

Only drink real fruit juice and robinsons, sometimes I have a coffee.

I get very stuck in a routine with eatting and riding :( if I don't do what I should be I get a little OTT!!! Only have chocolate on very bad days as I'm allergic to milk, too much and I'm sick for 24 hours :( :(

Don't really consider how healthy it is, but I have weetabix and sultanas for breakfast, if home for lunch homemade soup and a large salad with cold meats/cheese and maybe a bit of bought quiche, for supper I always cook from scratch apart from one day a week when I have an indian takeaway. Supper is something like chilli con carne, spag bol, curry, roast beef, corned beef hash, homemade chicken nuggets and occasionally homemade chinese food. I rarely eat chocolate, don't eat sweets or drink fizzy drinks. If I do snack, it's fruit late afternoon. It all sounds marvellous, but I smoke a bit and drink booze regularly. lol

Breakfast - museli
Mid morning - apple
Lunch - chicken or fish salad, or sushi if eating out with work
Mid afternoon - yog & granola
Tea - Usually a stir fry with meat/fish and lots of veg, with either noodles or rice. My boyfriend is a good chef! Sometimes have a Rolo choc mousse after!

Drinks - fruit juice or tea. Alcohol only at weekends and even then not much these days, but sporadic - I think it is called binge drinking!!

We get nearly all our food delivered from Abel & Cole - it's all British and organic - and it works out cheaper than supermarkets. :) I suppose we do eat healthily but it doesn't feel forced because all the veg we have is lovely.

i am allergic to anything with 'lowfat' in it.
i get right pee'd off in tesco when looking for yoghurts etc with any amount of calories/taste in them. I want full fat full taste, and no one seems to cater for it!

Are you me cuppatea? Really winds me up when everything is low fat crap & I want to buy food, but shelves are full of weight watchers, low fat, diet, low calorie etc versions & I can't find normal ones.

Depends on the day. If I'm busy and stressed I forget about food entirely. If I'm sitting at home not doing much, I could eat for England :D Today I've had a bowl of tomato soup and a bag of chipsticks. Yesterday I had some weetabix for breakfast, a sandwich at lunch and risotto for dinner. I don't eat enough fruit and veg really, but I don't eat masses of junk either (occasional bags of chipsticks aside :D).

I do drink way too much diet coke though...

Having been on a starvation diet for the last 8 months to lose enough weight to fit into my wedding dress for Sunday just gone, I have demolished my own body weight in cake and tea in the last couple of days :D - making up for lost time :p lol

I am another one who cannot stand anything 'low fat', it all tastes horrid. I hate margarine too, give me real butter please!

Question, how good for you are baked beans? I am a new convert to baked beans :)

Today I had a yoghurt and some fresh pineapple for brekkie, two slices of toast with baked beans on for lunch, and for dinner I will probably make a carbonara.

I do drink too much beer, but as it has been at least 36deg everyday for the last 6 weeks, I need something chilly to drink in the evenings!

yes, i must be as society rules there cant be more than one of us, they might have to cater for us then!
I eat a LOT - chips, cheese, butter, cream(by the tubfull with a spoon) anything fattening and ten times the amount of anyone else. I work hard (physically) and need fats and calories to keep me going ( i am pretty slim and muscley) and dont have time to eat more so need to eat fat

I don't think I eat badly, but I know I don't eat healthily.

Yesterday I had a small bowl of cereal for breakfast with semi-skimmed milk, a yoghurt drink mid-morning, a twix at 12pm, a sausage roll at 2pm, a lemon tart at 4pm, then rabbit bolognese with pasta for dinner with sticky toffee pudding and cream after.

Today I've had the same for breakfast, yoghurt drink again, a small cheese roll and a Greek yoghurt for lunch, a twix this afternoon, and I'll be having a chicken stir-fry in a bit.

Ok, that sounds worse than I thought - but I don't pig out on crisps and loads of chocolate, and I don't drink, and I mostly cook, bake or make what I eat. I also don't really eat fruit or veg, which is what I feel guilty about!

Luckily for me my metabolism is constantly running in overdrive so I'm a normal to slim kind of person.

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast: Two crumpets with 'I can't believe it's not butter' and a cup of tea
Morning snack: - A satsuma, apple and banana and a cup of tea
Lunch: 1/2 a tin of Heinz tomato soup, two slices of bread and a packet of wotsits
Dinner: Home made cottage pie with quorn mince, red onion, carrots and marrow with grated cheese on top of the mashed potato, served with lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a cup of tea
Dessert: A Boston Creme - didn't know what one was, but it's a doughnut with chocolate on it with cream in the middle with a cup of tea

Then OH and I munched on two chocolate chip cookies each whilst watching a DVD.

Today so far I have eaten:

Breakfast: A toasted English muffin with blackcurrant jam with two cups of tea
Morning snack: An apple and a banana
Lunch: Half a tin of Heinz tomato soup with two slices of bread, a packet of wotsits and a small portion of rhubarb crumble (I don't normally have pudding at lunch but I'd made the crumble this morning before work and wanted to try a bit!) with a cup of tea

OH will be cooking dinner tonight and I'm not sure what we will be having, although he's decided to go on a health kick as he's overweight so I imagine it will be something along the lines of a pie or some sort of meat (sausages etc) with either oven chips or potatoes and either salad or vegetables, and we will be having rhubarb crumble for dessert, served with custard!

We've also got some Doritos and biscuits to munch on whilst watching the Paralympic opening ceremony.

I drink a lot of tea (I probably have 7 or 8 cups of tea a day), as well as always having a bottle of water on my desk. I drink about three 750ml bottles of water whilst I'm at work.

My diet is pretty bad! I never stop eating!!

Breakfast is 2 slices of white toast smothered in butter

Lunch is either Subway, KFC, Mcdonalds, Chinese

Dinner is whatever I fancy.

Today I've had toast, KFC and going Nandos for dinner.

I'm glad I started this thread - some of you guys are making me feel a bit better about my "not healthy, not unhealthy" diet!

Today so far I have had :

- Homemade chips baked in the oven with grated cheese on top (for breakfast - damn those cravings!)
- One glass of orange juice and one glass of pure apple juice with a banana
- A few coffee biscuits, and a Toffee muller corner.

Wondering what to have for dinner, I'm hoping my boyfriend has some healthy stuff in his fridge, if not I'll be snacking on the bag of carrots I've just bought for the horse!

Agree entirely cuppatea. Eating vast piles of carbs requires time, sugary foods I just burn off. Fat is far more calorie dense. However not liking cream, milk yoghurts or eating much meat, its very hard. However complaining about it to people in rl when you're thin means they look at you like you're mad or bulimic.

Hahahaha, healthy, hahaha....

My diet is horrendous! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone :)

Today started with a cup of tea and a multi-vit pill, and some pefitteroles(sp?) with chocolate mouse I'd not eaten the night before because I was stuffed from eating a chipper, then I had a buttered roll at 11 with a cup of tea.

Then a big egg and bacon sandwich, with crisps, sweeties and a bottle of diet coke (cause I prefer it to full fat, not cause its diet) for lunch.

At 3ish I had a biscuit.

Don't know what I'm having for tea yet, depends on whats cheap reducedness in Sainsburys :)

I really do not eat enough fruit and veg, every week I tell myself I'll be better and every week I fail, miserably!

Brilliant! Actually, if I had your diet, I think I would become constipated. lol

I agree with what people were saying about fat though = in the winter, if I need to eat sandwiches up the farm or whatever, I'll purposely have something like mackerel in oil in the sandwiches to keep me going - low fat stuff is crap in cold weather (and I don't mean commercial low fat things which are usually full of sugar instead) - if I don't eat more fat in winter, I feel completely depleted by about 5pm.

yep, ive hathat before! im quite muscly so dont look bulimic thankfully, eople just dont believe i eat enough.....till they come for dinner!!

Same! I've been accused of having eating disorders in the past, even at school the health person questioned me. I went home and told my mum, she laughed, alot. I eat tons, just all the wrong stuff!

I love butter, cream, generally the good stuff :-)

My only concession is buying wholemeal stuff to avoid 'problems' :D

For those worrying about if their diet is healthy/enough vit c/protein etc, I can instantly make you feel better by telling you my OH exists on potatoes, bread, red Leicester cheese, cereal, chocolate, one type of apple and satsumas.

No meat, no veg, nothing else.

Today I've had...
Glass of orange juice for breakfast (got up late so wasn't hungry)
Spag bol for lunch (with veggies in!) and some plums and cheese for afters.
Some chocolate peanuts and 2 choc chip cookies in between.
For dinner, pasta with salad and poppy seed crackers with cheese for afters. And a glass of water with each meal.

Not that well, but it is really variable. When I want to lose a few pounds I keep a very precise food diary where I work out calories in everything - without fail it makes me lose weight as it makes you realise how much crap you eat.

Diet atm a bit more random than usual as am on box rest after dislocating kneecap - can't leave house without a lift and so limited by what is in freezer really.

3 crumpets with clover
4 digestives
2 pints sugar free squash
1 can coke
6 fish fingers in 4 slices seeded bread with clover

Will probably have a ping meal later with steamed veg to go with it.

Dinner tends to be fish and veg or pasta - ping meals not so often but struggling on crutches to cook much

I think I eat okay. My weight doesn't budge regardless whether I eat really healthy or really unhealthy due to my job, but I prefer healthy as just feel fat and bloated when I eat crap all the time. I struggle with moderation, if I've eaten healthy for a few days then I find it hard to have a bar ofchocolate without guilt, or I just eat crap constantly for 3 days.

A typical 'normal' day (I.e. Not super healthy not terrible)

6am - 2 slices of 50:50 toast with butter, one with nutella and one with peanut butter
10am - bowl of fruit n fibre cereal with skimmed milk
1pm - 2 slices of 50:50 bread with ham, cheese, lettuce, Mayo and onion relish. Packet of crisps and an apple and/or banana)
5.30pm - one of the following (or all of them depending on how hungry I am) packet of crisps/fruit/cereal bar

Then 7.30pmish dinner which varies a lot, anything from home made crispy chilli beef to pasta to eggs beans and chips ect. But rarey a takeaway, followed by chocolate mousse with squirty cream

Today was a less than good day - had a packet of rolos with lunch then a hot chocolate and brownie after work and about to gorge myself at a big family meal :)
