Polypads, roma thick pads (which are a lot cheaper than polypads) and thin nummnahs which I have won at competitions.
I need a new thick one for cross-country, my red polypad is now over 10 years old and is beginning to look faded!

smile.gif
depends how well the saddle fits and what I am using it with!

Yes
confused.gif

Well this is the thing .. saddle she is currently in needs polypad and prolite (yes - don't ask
tongue.gif
)

New saddle will hopefully be fitted to prolite and a thin(er) numnah but
confused.gif

I don't really know
grin.gif

I have used a polypad and a prolite before, don't fret!

If you want to use a prolite and a polypad then why not?
If you use a thin nummnah, I always like to have extra padding with it, just personal preference.

When her muscle tone builds up, her shape will change so at the moment she may use a polypad and a prolite, but in 2 or 3 months time you may only need a thin nummnah with a prolite
smile.gif

I guess so ...
blush.gif

Most people look at me like a nutter when I have a thick polypad and a prolite on her (it also makes her about 18hh's we tacked up

Shall chat to the saddler in the week and she what he thinks to it all

You have a new saddle coming so presumably it fits really well. You need a very thin numnah/saddle cloth as anything thicker will spoil the fit & tighten the saddle up over your horses withers & back & you don't want that. Forget sheepskin lined cloths & polypads as you shouldn't need them. A simple plain thin numnah will surfice. Good Luck.

Yet another Nuumed High-wither user here!

Same here, and I like the fact that the Dr version has D ring tabs instead of ones that attach to the girth straps - keeps it in place better.

Nuumed hi wither with wool just under the saddle - according to my saddle fitter these don't affect the fit of the saddle as the wool compresses enough - he advices against prolite pads though if the saddle fits properly.
