Everytime I "need" a horse, and we could have a interesting discussion of the use of need in that sentance , my OH says don't spend more than 30k without asking me and I come back yes a project that crossed my path.
Weve 2 on loan, TJ the Highland & Armani the Arab, so they dont count, but the others are as follows.
Nav, my Arab £400
April, Arab, £360
Lloyd, Section D, £100
Ed, my standardbred £500
Stroller, highland, £800
Flossie, coloured £200
Vinnie, section C £200
Elmo, section A £12
& Tyronne section A £20.
All cheap & cheerful![]()
Much too much - I bought the winter before all the prices crashed nearly 5 years ago! Saying that, he turned out to be a little star competing at everything and anything with my daughter but as I bought him for a hack for me, I did pay too much at the time.
I recently bought my 8 year, gypsy vanner gelding for £1200 (they originally wanted £2000 for him,I said nope) and is as quiet as a mouse.
Now I feel really cheated! When I said too much I didn't realise how much too much until I saw this.Where did you find these animals at those prices?
Lovely to look at but thats where it stops & ends.
