whereabouts in Ireland?

*waves at Sheep" I'm in the southwest of the north :D

Actually I think I already know where most of the regular Emerald Isle users live (not in a sinister way obviously ;))

Is it wrong that I'm reading this all in a most probably wrong generically Irish accent??

Omnom - 60 !!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if I'd known he was in B'mena on Monday then I'd have been there too :D Mind you, I'm forever bumping into Ciaran McMenamin in the tackle shop (picking up OH's maggots), and he's rather yummy in realtime too ;) And Adrian Dunbar but he doesn't do it for me although he's a very nice bloke :D

Im in the Whest. Well in the North West of the South...... just to confuse people who go by northern and southern Ireland :P

Ballymena produces its fair share of celebs doesn't it? AP Mc Coy is also from there or at least used a dentist there so must be from nearby.

'Northern Ireland' is, yes. Plain old northern Ireland would be Donegal :p
You could never say that Donegal is in 'southern Ireland', but it definitely part of the Republic :D

Crikey, look, we're having a scrap already and the board isn't even a day old PMSL!!!

Yes I meant the political entity rather than the geographic. Not a scrap - it's just that I wouldn't like to think the decision was made to lump us all together out of ignorance!

I like to think it is because we are all on the island of Ireland ...

And whereabouts are you from mle22?? :D

Of course we are all on the island of Ireland - but for better or worse we are not one country - different currencies, different systems of government - different all sorts of things!

Say where you are from so we can send some ointment to sooth your chafing a bit. It comes in green or red ;)

If it's good enough for the rugby team it's good enough for me.

PS.. Please nicely.. I hail from Galway so can I be an honorary member until I readjust my domicile ? Currently in the east mids UK. :)

I think you mean green or orange! And I'm neither - however - I wouldn't be surprised if H&H did it out of sheer ignorance. Most people in Britian haven't got a clue and that winds me up having suffered a lifetime of living in a warzone.
I was lucky enough to get tickets for the eventing at the olympics and was cheering for Team Ireland!

If you use the Post Reply button and not the quick reply box, the smilies appear to the right and you just click on the one you want :)

You must be Belfast/border counties then?? Go on, do tell :)

But if they split the forum into north and south then all the northies will leave and we'll have no fun :P

Is saying that I vote to keep us all in union going to far?

I'm all for peaceful co-existence - and I still can't figure out the smilies despite instructions!

Click on the Post Reply button. This will bring up your dialogue box where you type your reply. Just to the right of this there is another box with a selection of smilies :eek::confused::mad::rolleyes::(:):o:p;):D

I'm in the north of the South (I know all on here will understand this idiocy), in lovely Co. Cavan. OH is from the south of the North, Co. Down (also lovely, I hasten to add), but I'm originally from the south of the South, BEEOUTIFUL Co. Cork .
