If [as is very possible] you are referring to me - I only have to say that I always say what I believe, not because somebody else says it. I never go along with a popular opinion just because it is popular, and anyone accusing me otherwise, knows sod all about me!

I cannot see anything bullying about people posting advice, opinions and asking questions.
 
kayleigh I do not know why xxkatyxx turned this thread into a specific dig at the theads that involve FMN. Personally I totally agree with the OP - there ARE too many people that ask for critique or advice and then get all stroppy when they do not hear what they want.
 
Katy, you obviously feel strongly that certain individuals have been guilty of bullying- that is quite a serious allegation and if you are certain that is the case I think you need to report the specific instances to admin. We have all seen recently that admin are not shy to respond to serious breaches of the Ts & Cs which upset others.
 
Lol i bet every long standing member will come on here now saying 'well its obviously me' lol oh dear! Personally i wasnt actually thinking of a particular member, just in general i do see a sort of 'pack' instinct with the longer standing members and that there seems to be one rule for some people and one for another
 
Well I was involved in the specific thread katy was talked about - reasonable to assume she meant me.

I do not like being accused of bullying - if I am indeed. If Katy feels that strongly I think she should specify whom she is referring to.
 
Ah i see - hm things really do go over my head dont they! Dear dear but i want to make it clear, i didnt mean anyone specifically, but i have noticed longer standing members being 'allowed' to say some very out of order things to members, which if a newbie had said they would have been slaughtered for! Just a general observation
 
That may possibly be because these long standing members have followed a story from beginning to end over months - whereas a newbie may have absolutely NO knowledge of psat events?
 
True if its a comment said to another long standing member, but if its to a newbie or to someone not involved in a longer story? For example have had in the past some things said to me that no one commented on, yet when a newbie or not so involved member says similar they are laid into. Just something i've noticed
 
why would I be referring to you? Because we've had disagreements in the past? I am old enough to not hold onto these things and not let them affect my judgement of others.

Because I was involved in the threads concerned, and shared opinions with many of the other posters.

Ah right. Well if I see anything untoward I usually say something (as I did yesterday in your continuing drama with SMR). On the whole tho, I think we have a well balanced board.
 
As far as I am aware admin have been aware of the behaviour of certain members for some time now.

And if the last bit wasnt a bitchy comment what was? yes, I was suspended for breaching T&C's. everyone knows that. Other members were suspended for much lesser offences, for simply laughing and 'egging on'. Yet other members who joined in weren't susapended. Very very inconsistent.
I will now sit tight and see how admin handles this, if again it will be ne rule for some and another rule for others.

Not an ego alert - I said IF she meant me. There could be many people she meant, me included, so I wanted to clarify my position, if indeed she had been referring to me.

LOL!! Who cares who Katy was referring to? It's no big deal. No T&C's were broken as far as I read in the NUMEROUS threads relating to this - so why get upset. Sounds like sour-grapes to me.

Aww Weezy - there were NUMEROUS threads.....it could be any of us who replied to ANY of them, LOL!! I couldn't give a fig because I am content that what I said was to the point and did not break any T&C's......but then I didn't notice anyone else doing anything other than that either. There were a couple of "almost" personal comments made from both parties involved....does that constitute as bullying?? Not in my book it certainly doesn't - it sounded like a disagreement....however perhaps I don't have the full story.

I have to say all this "bullying" rubbish does get on my wick a bit.....crikey are we all supposed to sit and agree with everything anyone says or only post "oooh pretty pony" posts?

Thank-you for the supporting Pms, It's lovely to speak to people more personaly. Its ashame most of them feel to scaried to say the things on h&h its self. Lovely to hear from somebody from the yard Dermot came from too. A few of my friends have taken an interest in H&H so I know very well members feel way to worried to post anything. And now more well known members Pm me photos, prog etc because they too don't wish to get what I got. It's that pretty sad?

There is know doubt about it when one of the 'lord's' speaks that must be right and therefore pages fill of back up like btches. Why repeat what one person has said? I know when i give advice i read what others have said and try and suggest something different, Even if its not the best it give more varitiy.

The way the treads turned out is it really that surprising I take it with a pinch of salt? Like said I will not take a un constructive post from somebody I do not know, who does not know me, infact never met the horse? And prob doesn't understnad the situation? If its all right with you I'll listen to the wise people I know, turst and most importantly know me, horses, capibiltys etc.

Regards to Dermot....I'm overhorsed... But So have i been in the past...I am determind.... We have made good progress...Maybe if you had seen him before you'd understand. There are very repectable wise people I'm very lucky to known, who support and prise me for Dermot. Maybe when It feeling right I'll update you on his progress. We have a show planned so maybe then.
 
er, not everyone reads the entire post before posting. Some people just pop onto the forum for a few minutes between tasks and just reply to the OP as they don't have time to trawl through the entire post, especially if its long.

I actually feel that everyone on here is lovely. Mostly as a whole, but the odd few are only nice on their own. When they get with certain others are like a buch of hens pecking away and sniggering at others not as clever as themselves. When you get a group of them it can get a bit bitchy. Just a general observation. I'm just one of these people who will sit back and look at the bigger picture and see who gets on with who, who rubs each other up the wrong way etc etc.

And Weezy, I won't let a few people spoil my fun. I've made many good friends here and as a whole, like the forum. I just don't like the bitchy behaviour which goes on.

As Tia said, there were many threads relating to this, but it's been interesting making an observation, writing it in this thread and watching people jump and go "what? me??".

Fact is FMN, all we wanted to hear was that you were acknowledging the task in hand rather than being very blase about it. I am very glad to know you have a trainer working with you, eyes on the ground are very important. I look forward to seeing your progress, he is a gorgeous horse
