The worst part about owning horses is trying to get over the heart break when something goes wrong and there's potentially nothing you can do to put it right
Sorry...... I don't understand the question..... apart from having to leave them to get some money ( well most of us )....... Do they actually have ANY bad bits?
I went to see my mare like a kid let out of a very bad school, I looked after her, thought about her more than any other person especially when you consider I did it without condition - she could be "off" even frightening, dangerous too but then innocent and trusting. She's been gone now over twenty years - I can't believe it's that long because she is still in my head.
I can put up with most everything else, but the knee-deep, stinking mud at our place is just beyond the pale - thank goodness summer is on the way! (HAHAHA!)
Spending an eternity searching out non specialist items at reasonable prices.
I mean really, a shovel is a shovel, it does not need to go up 500% just because you add equine to the tag!
I like the seasons so won't grumble about the weather, but could cheerfully see the end of frozen pipes in deepest winter.
That horrible sick feeling when there is something wrong with your horse and you don't know what the outcome's going to be.
For such big beasts, they can be so fragile.

Tell me about it. The vet is coming out tomorrow for the second time for a lame left fore, couldn't find any issues last time and now the horse is madly lame still. Massive worry.
I didn't think of the mud but yes, it drives me nuts:
My constant paranoia and worrying! I'm actually working on it tho. Apart from that my bank account and relying on livery and not having the option to do exactly as I want (decent all year to mainly)
When there is something not quite right, and they won't tell you and you try to google it to find out your horse has several hundred fatal problems and should have died last tuesday
Currently its bringing my horse in from the field. Its a 15 min walk and he is so lazy to lead that unless I really get after him we walk at 0.00002 miles an hour.
And you have to go through mud to get there. Every day I pray I'm the last one there So he's already been brought in but it rarely happens
