Fröjdis and Essy was birdwatching from the windowsill behind me, there's empty plant free spots to accommodate cats, there's even two plants who doesn't take up their whole pots without there's room for a cat to sit next to the plant. Yet, just some minutes ago, *bang*, when I turned around, where there used to be a not sittable for cats plant pot, there was only Essy

This thread has gone a it quiet so I think it needs a nudge. Not worst but very cute.....our 9 month old kittens started going out about 2 months ago and one of them is bringing a stream of feathers and is very pleased with herself. Reckon she will get enough and build her own bird;)

One of my boy cats had obviously been out fighting and got a bite on his face, which turned into a large abscess. So, of course he decides to sleep on my bed where abscess burst overnight - cue me changing pus/ blood covered bedsheets at 1am. And a £100 bill at the vets. Just as well I love the little darlings. (and he's on the mend, just with a rather bald side to his face at the moment)

Gross but a burst abscess is good (preferably not on your bed)

No pictures - but my cat came in today with a small slug attached to her 🤮 - may not be the worst but to me the most disgusting thing she has done.....and there was a bit of slug trail on that patch - gross!
We had a very fluffy Persian cat and lived in a rural location with long grass all around the house.

We regularly had to inspect her tummy fluff for joyriding slugs.

The difficulty was that she didn't appreciate being handled (rescue cat who in her first home had been beaten and kicked so she wasn't a fan of humans) so it was a two person job for me and my brother. One of us held up her front legs, displaying the tummy fluff, and the other would search the fluff was slugs and remove them; ideally without squishing them 🤮

M came home at night very doped up had a settled night with OH sleeping with him in the kitchen 😅 back off to the vets for some Ivs and monitoring as he needs his peeing monitored. Need a large but low litter tray for him as the ones w have are too high or too small and I don't have a box cutter. He's had a bit of food and it demanded cuddles!

Thanks guys I know you all have a poo dance for a colicky pony but can we have a wee samba for a sore kitty. If he doesn't wee by himself he might need catheterised and 24/7 inpatient care. Ive made him a flat litter tray with grass screens but it's so ideal for a kitty who likes to go in my flower beds.

Doing the wee dance, everything crossed and positive vibes heading his (and your) way, really hope the litter tray proves attractive 🤞
