Love your 'my very own dinosaur' comment as I had a huge 17.2 Suffolk Punch X that I used to compete at dressage and he was my 'dancing dinosaur'.

You have a lovely jumping position. Have shown my daughter your jumping pics as I am trying to encourage her at the mo' to fold and push her seat back more when jumping, not push herself up out of the saddle. She is only 12 but having a visual aid like a photo is fab and will encourage her to copy. Thank you .

1life - the sunshine was just so nice on our backs! Makes the hard work through the winter all seem worth it I work full time in marketing, and ride/train the boys after work, so going from riding at 10pm at night in the cold and rain to 1pm in the afternoon on a gorgeous sunny day certainly makes a difference!

I almost think he can sometimes!! He's so sensitive he's more like a mare than a gelding, and he was in a bad place when I bought him. We've been through so much and we're very much out the other side now, so in a way I do think he communicates with me on another level

Seeing as you asked, this is Joey. He's rising 5, nicknamed Asbo as he is exactly that, a true Master Imp (did anyone read the article about Master Imp offspring in the recent copy of Eventing?) - very intelligent, very confident and very naughty!! Makes me though, even though he is bound to find the weakness in my superglue soon Bought in May 2011 unbroken. He's little compared to the other two, at just over 15'3hh.

I actually didn't really know what I was buying at the time, but just knew he was something special by the way he moved but needed A LOT of work - i.e. I had to turn him away for 6 months and totally restart him from scratch. I have scars on my body from his early days, but that was a long time ago now After I bought him, I then did a bit of research and started to realise what I had and couldn't believe how much he looks like his dad!!

Yes he's very hot, very sharp and lacks confidence in himself and the world around him. And then when he panics he panics in big style. But I ADORE him. And he's finally trusting me now, I can ride him and train him like a *normal* horse. His cheeky side has come out over the last couple of years and he's now really starting to show what he's made of. He's one horse that is guaranteed to put a big on my face no matter what.
