Would anyone like to meet Wally?

Wow, Wally (love the name:D) is absolutely GORGEOUS! Both your horses are, lucky you!

I have often looked at your sig and thought your dressage boy looked lovely!

You need to update more (with pics of course) and lurk less :D

Really glad you like the boys :) and I promise to post more and lurk less! Wal is entered into Gatcombe as his first run, and Phil has 2 adv meds at Vale View this Sunday coming :)

louise88 he has, and it's taken a while to get it under control! :D

a) He's very lovely

b) My friend Wayne took those pictures :)

c) I know the lovely grey stood behind you in the first picture - that's Casper :)

Really so lovely to hear the enthusiasm in your words about your neddies -hope you have a fantastic year with them, looks like you have a great partnership with both :)

Love your 'my very own dinosaur' comment ;) as I had a huge 17.2 Suffolk Punch X that I used to compete at dressage and he was my 'dancing dinosaur'.

You have a lovely jumping position. Have shown my daughter your jumping pics as I am trying to encourage her at the mo' to fold and push her seat back more when jumping, not push herself up out of the saddle. She is only 12 but having a visual aid like a photo is fab and will encourage her to copy. Thank you ;).

Oh and SUNSHINE in a photo - yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

How dare you not introduce us to your 2 gorgeous horses before - bloomin' cheek!

Yes, we want reports, yes, we want more pics - and good luck at Gatcombe (you'll have to do a report now you've come out of the lurker closet ;)) :).

Careful guys, you'll give her a big head ;) (sorry saratoga!!!)

Now the report you really need to be badgering for is the one when she takes the ASBO Master Imp out for the first time, now that could be entertaining!!!

Thank you all again so much, definitely encouraging to do more reports in future, warts and all! ;)

1life - the sunshine was just so nice on our backs! Makes the hard work through the winter all seem worth it :) I work full time in marketing, and ride/train the boys after work, so going from riding at 10pm at night in the cold and rain to 1pm in the afternoon on a gorgeous sunny day certainly makes a difference!

Wally is stunning, so my type of horse! Love that you have a horse called Phillip too, can he talk like the one in Narnia?! :D
I almost think he can sometimes!! He's so sensitive he's more like a mare than a gelding, and he was in a bad place when I bought him. We've been through so much and we're very much out the other side now, so in a way I do think he communicates with me on another level :o

As long as you're there to capture it in pics/on vid to give everyone a real good belly laugh! :D

I have a thing for big horses and I have a Wally, so this was always going to be a thread that met with my approval. :p :D

Best of luck at Gatcombe and I'll look forward to loads of reports from you, warts and all. ;)

Ps. Photos of the "asbo" (or so says ihatework) pony would be good too.

Ohh, you've got me welling up here :o It sounds like you've got an amazing relationship with him.

I don't have as many pictures of Philip unfortunately, but I have a few of him on this computer that are relatively recent. I need to get some better ones of Phil really!

Wow, hes a real stunner, just like his daddy isn't he :) Is he quite hot? People always say Jazz horses are really hot and i've yet to meet one that isn't. Ive got a Johnson rising 4yr old (so Jazz as the grandsire) and hes been as quiet and calm as anything so far.

Seeing as you asked, this is Joey. He's rising 5, nicknamed Asbo as he is exactly that, a true Master Imp (did anyone read the article about Master Imp offspring in the recent copy of Eventing?) - very intelligent, very confident and very naughty!! Makes me :) though, even though he is bound to find the weakness in my superglue soon :D Bought in May 2011 unbroken. He's little compared to the other two, at just over 15'3hh.

I actually didn't really know what I was buying at the time, but just knew he was something special by the way he moved but needed A LOT of work - i.e. I had to turn him away for 6 months and totally restart him from scratch. I have scars on my body from his early days, but that was a long time ago now :o After I bought him, I then did a bit of research and started to realise what I had  and couldn't believe how much he looks like his dad!!

Yes he's very hot, very sharp and lacks confidence in himself and the world around him. And then when he panics he panics in big style. But I ADORE him. And he's finally trusting me now, I can ride him and train him like a *normal* horse. His cheeky side has come out over the last couple of years and he's now really starting to show what he's made of. He's one horse that is guaranteed to put a big :) on my face no matter what.
