Can't argue much about the correct balance of influence across the three phases there. Although gutted for David Doel at the last!

Though Lucinda had some interesting points in this video, many of which have been said on here before, especially about the breeding of horses.

Do you know what Tim and Jonelle are world class at? Letting horses make mistakes and know that the system works and the end result will get there. I think we are so terrified of bad records we don’t let horses learn. I also think it’s a bit why junior/YR horses who go 4/5* tend to be very good at being left alone and sort themselves out as rider gets more experienced as long as presented to the fence properly. Falco, Grappa Nera, McLaren have all made mistakes on their journeys but the Prices stick with it and go ok well you will have learnt from that.
