There have been allot of posts recently about "livery Yard Horror Stories" and "Worst Riding Schools", "liveries from Hell" and "Evil YO or Riding Instructors"!!!
I understand that there are some yards out there that are dreadful, YO's that haven't got a clue, B1tchy Liveries, Riding Schools that are expensive and you don't get allot from them BUT there are also allot of nice, happy yards with good facilities and nice people. There are many good riding schools with good horses and instructors that install confidence and develop peoples skills.
It's easier to moan and whine than praise and don't get me wrong there are niggles at the yard I'm on but i also know my horses are happy and 98% of the time I'm happy with the yard.
So without this turning in to a soppy "lets all hold hands and sing songs" kinda post, maybe we could say what good things attracted you to your yard, why are you there, what made you choose the riding school you go to and why do you keep going back every week?
