I have no words, how you could do this and explain this away, what on earth state was the horse in to just have given up

I have just done a dance fit class - I can get the legs or I can get the arms - I cannot do both - as my knee hurts and so does my shoulder.
Now if someone thrashed me to death, and i understand by watching and also wanting to do this stoopid dance.
Put a horse in this position and it does not understand, possibly hurts and does not want to do as asked - how on earth could i react, i can run - the reins and the walls of the school hold me in, It can go up - but the draw reins stop him, he can kick and bronc but the rider is good and holds on and the gadgets stop me, or i am kept without water or lunged for hour after hour - then their are the kicks with spurs and jabs in the mouth, what else can i do..... throw myself to the floor ?? the horse tried to kill his previous rider.... or did he run himself into the walls of the school or rear over backwards??

Just bloody awful awful riding, I cannot imagine the pain that poor poor animal went through - death would have been kinder

Good to see Equestrian Australia have grown a pair and done the right thing. Even with the CDJ example, there was no guarantee they would. This is an organisation that has let numerous instances of horse abuse, and indeed the rape of one member by another, slide under the carpet.

In fact, EA at national level must be one of the most loathed, mistrusted sporting bodies in Christendom, at least amongst the rank and file. Their latest controversy is using $40,000 worth of members money for a 'special general meeting'. That's a big coffee urn, and pricey biscuits.

This is not Ryan's first brush with the law, either. There have been rumors around for years about his treatment of younger, more vulnerable staff members.

The descriptions are horrendous but actually watching it was sickening on another level. I had to switch it off. I can’t find the words to describe what I think of him.
