    Adventurous April weekend plans?

Friday I was at a coaching workshop all day, I am starting the process of getting qualified. It was a very interesting day. Henry came with me to be a demo horse, he was such a star, happy to poke around pretending to be a school master. I love him! Saturday was a very non-horse day, we had a...

Any chance of sun? Mid April Weekend Plans

Henry and I had a great lesson at dressage club on Saturday. A real lightbulb type lesson, and he worked great and I rode well. It just felt like a few things clicked in. No idea when we are going to do actual dressage next but when we do I think we will feel quite prepared. Coolie and I went...

    Easter weekend plans?

We are just training at home. Need to work on keeping Henry in front of my leg so will have a jump, do some pace work, hack. All the things! With 2 horses! Yay!

    Mid March Weekend Plans

Henry and I had a great jumping lesson tomorrow. We felt really solid and confident and I'm excited for our next comp next weekend. This weekend Hubby is being a social butterfly, so not much riding other than a long bush ride Sunday morning. Embracing the (kind of) cooler weather.

    Weekend plans?

Sounds like some great plans. We have had a wonderful weekend. Indoor training went well, and was great to get the rust off and nerves out of the way. Very pleased with our rounds, each one was better than the last and cmae away feeling much more cnfident. Yesterday dressage club was very...

    29th Feb Leap-Weekend Plans

Dressage is cancelled, weather still not playing ball. Too windy now, and thunderstorms threatening. So I guess we will do something at home 🤷‍♀️ Eventually we will get out and about...

    29th Feb Leap-Weekend Plans

Happy to share, it's been a very hot, dry summer. No decent rain since September! We had 3 weeks over 35C, it was horrible!

    29th Feb Leap-Weekend Plans

We had a really productive lesson today even though Henry was a bit spooky. He is feeling very hot at the moment and so spooky Henry is hard work. I used my abs a lot! Much of the same things we always have to work on: sit up, steadier contact, get him in front of my leg. He is so much stronger...

    February (at last!) Weekend plans

We went to the beach on Tuesday! Last exciting thing to happen for at least a week as we have 10 days over 35c, and it’s just far too hot to do much at all.

How to decide if it’s the right horse?

with one of mine it was the second I saw him, I just knew and he has been absolutely perfect and will be with me for life. My other one wasn't as clear cut, but he didn't scare me and that was important! He was harder as I was looking for something young and green, and while he hasn't been as...

    February (at last!) Weekend plans

We had a really useful lesson yesterday evening. Things have been a bit quiet around here because it has been incredibly hot (several days above 40c last week, yuck!). But yesterday it was cool (28c!) so Henry and I went jumping. He is so much stronger and seems to be coming into the season...

    Christmas Weekend Plans!

Well I'll be doing a pus dance, really hoping that is why Henry is NQR. Nothing showed up at the vet so abscess seems most likely. Really really hope so. I'll go for a few rides on Coolie, just gentle walks and Mr 2 said he wanted to ride too so that will happen as well! Merry Christmas...

    Boggle- USA bound!

I've done Perth to the UK, not been to the US, but yes, there is a lot of ocean. I find it crazy you can drive between countries in the UK and Europe. Here you have to drive for literal days to get to another state. It's a whole other thing. Mind you some of those tiny islands in the Pacific...

    Mid-November weekend plans

We have no horse plans unless a vet outing on Tuesday counts. We might go to the beach though!
