I recently put up a conformation critique post and was basically asked if I wanted an proper answer or fluffy one!!! It was assumed by this poster that I may only want fluffy replies which IMO is not what a critique...
I would strongly get someone into spray it when they start to come up in may. They were in my paddock last year and really upset my cob's tummy and gave him sores around his mouth.
I've had the toggi hudson country boots for over two years now and they are still going strong and so so comfortable. They are dear in robinsons but I'm sure you can find them cheaper elsewhere. I paid about £90 from mole valley farmers.
I shouldn't worry my welsh x don't like being clipped either and we exercise him in the winter and he lives out 24/7. If not dripping too much we just sling his rug on whatever. Has never had a problem yet.
We used nice and easy calmer in a syringe and it worked brilliantly on our nervous horse, never seen him so chilled but responsive. can be used for competitions.
If it is soft and squishy, it could be a hematoma. If you push your finger into the middle of it and it leaves a dent then you have a hematoma. they are sometimes found on belly and will grow in size before they go back into the body. They are not painful and donot require draining. Hope this...
