    Leeds Castle

I too was at Leeds Castle and really enjoyed myself. I have a coloured cob and thought the judges in both the ridden cob and coloured classes were really nice. I was down the line in the coloured class and the judge just smiled and gave me my rosette and didn't offer many words so I thought...

I am so excited as I can post about weekend plans as I have some! Its my first showing show with George at Leeds Castle in Kent. I am doing the Ridden Cob, Ridden Coloured and possibly in-hand coloured. I can't wait. But it is a bit of a bummer as it clashes with Nurstead which is really...

    Ode to Sedalin

I sedated my horse this weekend with Sedalin to attempt to clip his back legs as he is so naughty but it didn't even touch him and he wasn't sedated at all and he managed to kick the clippers out of my hands. I now have the vet coming to sedate him properly! I wish George would go under like...

Hi I am off to Towerlands to do Search for a Star with my coloured cob, I am really looking forward to it. I think Dexter looks lovely in the dressage picture (well all of the pictures but that dressage one is really smart!) Has he ever raced or been in training? You could do the Racehorse to...

    **Weekend Plans**

Worried1 - I am stabled at Speedgate. Didn't realise there was affiliated on this Saturday, well that gives me something to watch after I have finished clipping my cob first thing Sat morning. I am then off to a Mark Boxall jumping clinic in the afternoon. Sunday lesson at midday and nothing...

    Does anyone else feed outshine?

I use it on my cob and also use the top spec cup and feed 3/4 a cup twice a day. I have to say its fantastic stuff and have noticed a massive difference in George's coat and muscle tone since I started him on it at the beginning of March.

showing my cob - some Q's

I have finally joined BSPA (as he is coloured) and got my JMB height cert and he is 152.5 so can do cob classes. And we have our first show on April 27th at Leeds Castle, Kent - is anyone else going??? My few little questions are: Trotting up.... He doesn't do it without someone clapping /...

Yes I saw that this morning. Huddson is my yard managers horse and is stabled right next door to my little horse George. I feel quite honored to be stabled next door to a celebrity. Hopefully the winning streak will pass onto me and G! Oh and a massive well done to JLav on her and Hudds...

Working full time and horses. Your routines

So it seems most of us give up a social life / housework / TV to have horses. I don't mind though!! I do like to try and make it home to watch CSI on a Tuesday night though!!! I also spend nearly all day Sat and Sun at the yard as I love being there and have a lovely group of friends...

Working full time and horses. Your routines

I am just wondering what everyones routine is and how you all cope. I work full time in London and it takes me 1 hour 20 mins to get into work and I start at 9am. I finish at 5.30 and providing the trains are running OK I walk through my door at around 6.45pm. I quickly change, grab the dog...
