Hey guys, Just wondered if anyone had any tips on keeping a horse's attention, particularly during a dressage tests? Preferably in relation to young horses. Any ways to warm up that will help me to get a nice controlled, relaxed test?

Chesnut pony in my signature has a trotter type trot too :) she's fully registered welsh :)

I think it totally depends on the rider and you can't really stereotype all junior riders obviously... if gung-ho is your ponies way of going then there will be a jockey to suit, and all your hard work on the flat will be rewarded if you ever came to sell the pony as it opens up other avenues :)...

My horse is out on trial, and I haven't ridden in weeks :( just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere that did horse hire and lessons, I haven't had a proper lesson in months, I know Vale View hire horses out but wasn't sure what the instructors were like?

Chesnut looks like a nice stamp of horse.. but I do agree think he might be rather a lot of horse. The mare at 12 seems a lot more established, it says she loves jumping and I think that that's a very good price :) could always go and see both though.

My family are moving out there permanently :) I'm going for three months... love the UK as silly as that sounds, its where everything good is!

Reading it I thought about 4k... but think at the moment you will get what people will pay and people are always on the look out for nice PC horses that will event... so maybe a little more :) sorry about Henry :(

Hog hog hog :) looks way smarter and a million times easier to look after, especially if you're showing... doesn't require plaiting, just a quick touch up :)

Pony Club Intermediate Areas today at Burghley, possibly a little underprepared (well, very.) But were feeling okay about the whole thing armed with lots of Kalms tablets and some Rescue Remedy. Warmed in with the help of my instructor and went off to do our dressage. Now personally I don't...
