    Ifor Williams Eventa trailer

Wondering if anyone has any experiences with the Ifor Williams Eventa trailer. I’m downsizing from an 18t lorry and am keen on the Eventa. Am going to look at one this week but want to know how the space is for the horses inside the trailer, with and without tack lockers in the horse area...

Taking the plunge and buying a lorry??

If you don’t want the cost and can manage with a 3 horse trailer and don’t need the space for living etc then I’d stick with a trailer. Lorries are naturally more expensive as you already have the additional plating unlike a trailer. My 7.5 was a Mercedes 811D and although older was incredibly...

Ruptured ACL and multiple ligament damage

I fully ruptured my ACL playing netball 2 years ago. I was incredibly fortunate that my knee was actually very stable. I saw one physio who was keen on the surgery option but my surgeon had said that I may not need surgery if the knee is stable enough and I wasn’t wanting to play elite level...

Traveling a shetland in a trailer.

Yep, you can travel them loose. I put a bale of shavings under the breast bar of my ifor Williams so that mine couldn't walk under the it and I cross tied him. Always worked well

Royal Windsor - In hand shetland showing.

Thank you, yes, I have competed their several times but only in the jumping classes. The trek and the mud to the rings is such a nightmare...think I may have to wrap the shetland up and unwrap him when I get to the ring! Don't want him getting dirty on the way!

Royal Windsor - In hand shetland showing.

My Shetland is going to Windsor for the first time this year. Does anyone have any idea how big the 3 yr olds and under Shetland class has been in recent years? Any Shetland showing tips? (he has only done a few unaffiliated shows) or any other useful information on Shetland showing at this...

    Primary teaching and horses

It's definitely doable. I am in my nqt year and have 5 horses. 4 in full time work, competing and training every weekend. I had 2 -3 horses throughout uni too and never had a problem. It does mean less sleep but I'm at work by 7am and then home for 3.45pm. I work the horses and then do school...

What couldn't you live without in your lorry?

I have just bought a lorry and am interested in extra 'things' that people have in their lorries and see as essentials. Mine doesn't have a camera in the horse area, so that is something that I will be putting in. TIA x
