    Auto immune… cancer

Just to note - the Happy Dog tinned "pure" do state that other proteins may be present due to the manufacturing process so while they work for the majority of dogs they are not suitable for a true exclusion diet. The Peptide Plus hydrolysed options are my go to for a hydrolysed diet these days

    Auto immune… cancer

If he is itching on a hydrolysed diet (Ci is hydrolysed, not sure which RC you were using - I'm sure you told me!) but with no extras/treats/other stuff added then the food isn't the problem - the whole point of hydrolysed is that the proteins are in such small units that they don't cause immune...

Spanish Boy arriving next week - EEKK!

Pretty much everything is going via Belfast - they've had to massively up their vet staffing for checks. Same loop hole for dogs. Travel via Belfast/Larne from UK and then on to ROI without Rabies/AHC by using the free pet travel document and declaring that you aren't entering ROI....!

Very worried about my old girl.

Unrequested vet thoughts - she sounds like she could do with far more chemical enhancement than just fluoxetine to deal with life. Have you spoken to a behavioural vet who can prescribe or just a GP vet? On the wound up in the evening - judicious Melatonin administration can be very useful for...

    Yumove or something better?

Ideal!! Ours are actually used for measuring yeast for long ferment pizza dough...and occasional poultry or pheasant meds. Mostly yeast.

    Yumove or something better?

I keep spoons from every random supplement and medication and usually can find one that works for the given dose! And use a drug scale to check the dose first time

    Yumove or something better?

Fot example Horse Herbs sell pure green lipped mussel powder for £22 for 500g. Riaflex recommend feeding a large dog 2g per day....so that works out at £2.75 a month for a dog your size....so yes, there is significant savings to be had especially if you are a multi dog household.

    Yumove or something better?

Yep, I pretty much only use human or equine options. You want 1000mg of green lipped mussel per dog per day. Theres plenty of options available online, either as powders or capsules. Lyprinol is also the human version of Antinol (PCSO-524, essence of GLM!) and works out cheaper than the dog...

I asked why she found it surprising....not why it was perhaps a poor choice for them to fly. I find it singularly unsurprising they have chosen to ship several horses out for races.

Why? Several flew out there this week from various countries to race

    Gundog people

I have a few - they're very useful on wet days when you don't want soggy canvas dummies in your vest training several! The mini Mallard, teal, widgeon and partridge are similar sizes - cheapest from Muntjac Trading
