Could you try getting someone to distract her with a toy or treats whilst in the car??? Or try to reassure her that it is ok (but not too much as it might make her worse...) I hope that helps as not really too sure... x

I think he is just a lab... My chocolate lab is brown with a white cross on his chest like yours... Have just had a quick look at photos of Dylan (my dog) as a puppy and looks similar... He is ow 3 1/2! x

Have you tried asking the vet for a head collar thing (one of the big plastic lamp shades!) My dog had to have a claw removed at the vets and had the lamp shade on for a week! His walks were restricted to prevent it hurting but it wasn't covered at all... Even when he came back from the vets...

I'm just being curious really.... But do dogs see in colour or only in black and white??? Some people have said to me that they see in black and white but could they just be colour blind and only see certain colours???

Fo retrieving toys you could maybe get a Kong type thing and fill it with a paste you can get... This may encourage him to bring back the Kong and when he does you put a bit more in... Later on you could then hide it somewhere nearby and he has to sniff it out... Hope that helps slightly x
