Someone posted this poem in New Lounge. I had a good bawl at it because my old cat is getting put down tomorrow. Utterly devasted is an understatement for how I feel and life won't be the same without my little partner in crime around.

Sadly no longer with me but my JRT was put down last year at the age of 18! The terrier temperament definitely got him through all the old age associated illnesses and he enjoyed life to the end. So hopefully you've still got many more years with your eldest.
I have 2 Jack Russell Terriers and they're brilliant with my cat who is the grand old age of 21! Other people's cats are a different story though - they can differentiate! :)

Would urge both pro's and anti's to oppose these morons.
This forum was originally the 'Hunting Debate' forum. It was changed (as far as I know) to a general hunting chat room so that people could both talk about hunting in general and also still debate.
You suggested that people may change their opinion on fox hunting in light of the incident. I was trying to make the point that this isn't a reason to be pro-hunt as other animals are dangerous to people and we don't hunt them.
I think your opinion sounds sensible but a fox attack on a baby...
How many children are savaged by dogs every year? Don't know why everyone is going hysterical over a very rare (but very sad) incident with a fox!
Perhaps we should get rid of all dogs!
