Those of you on full livery, meaning including exercise/schooling - what are the reasons for you to have your horses full livery (time, living too far away from yard, trainer etc) and how often do you see your horse?

A friend of mine is looking for sales livery for her horse, preferably with a SJ focus. Must haves are turnout for the horses on livery and a small quiet rider who doesn't mind stressy mares. :o

Your horse is happier as he/she can be out longer than at part livery yards? I have calculated savings to be about £30 during winter and £100 during summer months. Not that much adding up the extra petrol and trips to get feed and bed.

Took me 2 days (mornings) but had been driving cars for years before then. Tricky bit was reversing round a corner for me.

Has anyone gone back to assisted from part livery? And if yes, what were the reasons other than saving money? Has it been worth it? Thanks :)
