I am so sorry both for your loss and the horrible turn this thread has taken. We have all taken liberties with horses and tragic accidents do happen. If everyone had hindsight the world would be a wonderful place.
I thought it was a great race and the fact there were no falls until the 8th fence was testimony to the improvements made. I also think not having the parade meant the horses were a lot more relaxed at the start. A great result for all the connections.
