Utopia to be sold at Auction with no reserve..

I wonder will he be ridden around Mallusk lol. Might go up for a nosy. At the end of the day the horse will be mega bucks and will end up with a good home. The people I feel sorry for is the creditors who have been waiting a long time for this.

    Getting my confidence back slowly

After a difficult youngster, a broken arm and a having a young baby my confidence was at an all time low and I was seriously thinking of giving up. I had another young horse who wasn't the easiest so given my loss of confidence this was not a good mix. I had her up in livery at a yard at Easter...

Absolutely Fabulous day at dressage finals, thrilled! :D (Pics)

We'll done!!! Again I didn't get a chance to say hi but I will. I might be on my baby horse at that stage :). My home bred baby horse did really well getting placed in the prelim championship so we are so chuffed with her especially as she is only rising five. The pressure will be on me to get...

Back in the saddle after pregnancy

I suppose I will have to see how I feel. I was hoping to get on after eight weeks as I was wanting to get the baby horse home as I can't afford the livery on maternity pay.

Back in the saddle after pregnancy

Hi folks. I am currently 33 weeks pregnancy and have been awake since 4.30 this morning. After reading a recent thread I was wondering how long it took fellow HHO members to get back in the saddle after being pregnant and what did it feel like? Also does it effect your confidence at all...

    Riding on the Beech

Don't panic. I am not from your area. Just it is something I would check out before you set out for a long gallop. Hope you have a great time.

    Riding on the Beech

I assume you have checked what the sand is like. There is one of the beaches close to me which goes from soft to hard to soft etc which I would not use yet others do.

    Crooked horse! vid

Tried to edit my reply there but it wouldn't let me. I would also add that horses will always have a stronger rein and will find one easier than the other. I have on horse which is better on the right rein and an other which is better on the left. She may object to the leg yield because she...

    Crooked horse! vid

What a lovely cob and I agree with you regarding the reins :). I had the same problem. I assume she has had the usual checks physic teeth etc. From watching the video all i could see was a typical young horse which is not overally supple which is understandable given her type. If it was me...

    Riding in pregnancy?

Firstly congratulations :). Baby's never get there timing right lol. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant. I rode up to 12 weeks as the midwife said to me that the baby was well protected in the pelvis although if I had any major falls I was to contact them. My hubby did not want me to ride...

    Dressage report and christmas bling!

Love the Xmas bling. Well done with the scores. At least billy didn't spook at the open door. My older horse hates it lol.

    A highly unprepared dressage outing!

I wasn't riding as I am up the duff but my friend was. I think she was warming up at the same time as you as I remember there was a couple of coloured horses. My baby horse was the small chestnut mare.
