Thank you. mudmonkey17 I will have a look at the masterclip ones as the plan is to not let the hair get too thick anyway.
Toby_Zaphod thanks for the reply - I really want to be able to get the hair quite short so I don't think a scissor job will do. I should add that I want the hair short for...
Hi all, looking to buy some trimmers to keep my horses feathers trimmed. Nothing too pricey but they need to be quiet and cordless. Any recommendations would be appreciated as I've never bought any type of clippers before. Thank you.
Ola, I am typing from sunny Portugal, on my holibobs. Wondering what I could by my horsey friend as a gift for looking after my horse while im away and putting my mind at rest. She has a lovely thoroughbred but he is very well loved and has most things he needs. Was thinking of a voucher ftom...
Oh wow they are beautiful! My faves are #5 and #6. What a great opportunity...I don't think I would trust mine loose on a beach..he'd be straight off to the nearest seafront chippy!
Ahh that's nice that your boyf is supportive - can you get him to come and giev you moral support while you ride?
Dad is defo next best thing - when I get my first pony my Dad use to cycle everywhere with me!
Good Luck with it all tomorrow - keep us updated, maybe do a blog/regular updates...

I don't have a will as I don't have anything of any value (except for the hoss!) Was just wondering whether it was worth getting one in place solely to ensure that he is okay.
Oh poor you and him - glad you are both okay. Have you got someone who can help you until you get back on track? Either an instructor or just a friend, having moral support really helps. Like others have said, just start off with small things that you feel comfier doing and take the pressure off...
I know who my horse would go to if I died or became unable to look after him myself. Even if that person could not look after him until the end of his days I know they would be happy to take him on and deal with selling him on if necessary.
But is it enough to tell my closest...
Also kinda excited for the sake of a change. This will be my second winter with new horse..bought lsst October so everything was all new last winter. Looking forward to being able to cope more this winter now that we know each other and have our routines. Please let it not be so bad as last year...
xxx be easy on yourself over the next few days...you need time to be numb and to grieve. I said goodbye to my boy 2 years ago and for what seemed like ages I would end up crying at work just if he popped into my head :( only us horsey people understand the special relationship we have with them xxx
