I think this is what has happened - saddle fitter has come out and taken profile, says he’s lost weight and is then adjusting the k and m to a narrower fit. I can see now though that this saddle can’t go wider as it will drop too low on the withers and as he moves the side to side movement...
Hello!
Haven’t posted on here for a while but can anyone offer any saddle advice?
I have a 6yr old WB, big shoulders , long high wither, fairly broad along his back and I’d say still growing/filling out.
His current saddle is 17.5 K and M high wither GP, he is now filling out nicely...
Wow, they all look amazing, and so mature! Mine is growing beautifully, has a lovely coat and temperament.... but he still looks like an overgrown foal  Great big long clumsy legs and neck, huge knees! Think 'Melman' from Madagasca and thats about where we are at the moment!! :)
Tunley equestrian nr Bath - mainly spotties. Tresaison stud, or Gassons Farm (Glos) breed dilutes and spotties, though I think most of theirs are sold already this year.
Sorry if they are massive pictures (or if you cant see them at all which is my usual trick  ) not sure how to shrink them from FB.
My little yearling is growing like a weed, these were a couple of months ago, he has a gorgeous summer coat poking through now :)
We've been taking...
I have the same problem. My 10yr old son enjoys riding, doesn't like tracksuit bottoms and insists on wearing 'proper riding trousers' to ride. I have found it impossible to find 'boys' jods for this age group. He is currently wearing age 14 black or beige plain ones but they are clearly...
Love the little Exmoors!
Mine's not technically a rare breed but any excuse to share a picture...
There's a 1/4 knabstrupper and a 1/4 Kinsky in there and he's finished off with KWPN :D
She's gorgeous too :) yes there's definitely something special about spotties - I love the fact that they are unique, I know there isn't another with the same markings!
Hugo looks really settled with his bit in - tried Oreo with his but once he realised it wasn't edible he was far from...
Hugo looks lovely all plaited up! I'm sure most of his fluff will be gone by July, our babies have started to lose their coats this last couple of weeks. I love the comment about his 'beard'!
We have a few local shows planned, i'm bitting mine but using a three way coupling to keep the...
Ha ha I have one of these! Quite often looks very 'camp' eating his hay :D Mine's still a yearling but again very leggy with huge knees and hocks. I'm hoping they grow out of it too! It definitely looks awful one day and better the next and they certainly weren't like it when he was ickle!
