    Question of the Week - Do you ride your horse in protective boots?

    yes, I put on boots for jumping and hacking, and just some exercise bandages for schooling. I use just XC boots and over reach boots usually. :) with tendon and fetlock boots when jump training.

    Everything done on the left.

    It's because in the military, they had their swords on their left sides so it was to keep it away from the horse. eg. mounting from the right side and they would have cut the horses bum off.

    ^^agree with above but only with a good shelter, otherwise a light turnout sheet, won't be too restricting but just keep the wind of the old bones a bit. :D
