Highly recommend Celeris and the bia’s, I have two pairs and absolutely love them. Last year they were a little tight I blame it on the heat not the fact I gained a few pounds, so just loosen the laces and the fit was perfect!
Sara is fantastic, have trained with her for the last 4 years and come away from every lesson inspired. Sara is always positive, encouraging, supportive and down to earth. I have a challenging warmblood and without her help certainly would be where I am today
Ive been taking my boy to the water treadmill in Rudgwick, Equine Aqua Training. Initially I went for once a week for six weeks and now Im going every other week and will do so for another couple of months. The difference has been amazing and really strengthen my boy.
As a super hot and...
Have you considered going to the water treadmill? I started taking my boy about 6 weeks ago and it has really helped strengthen and build up muscle on his hind. The difference is very noticeable
Anyone had any experience of a tear to the gracillis muscle? My boy has torn his being a silly so and so in the field 😳 He's been on box rest for 6 weeks and is now starting physio as the muscle is starting to heal and scar tissue is forming. Vet is back this week to re scan and discuss...
Thanks, vet re scanned the thigh this week and the muscle is healing well, but still some swelling and has said he is to remain on box rest for a further 2/3 weeks as he would like the swelling to be down further to allow the muscle to heal.
I have physio booked for week after next which will...
Thanks, I have our usual physio appointment booked for the end of the month and hoping the vet agrees it's a good idea. From what I can find and have read online, gentle movement and physio will all help his recovery. Think we are both going crazy after doing nothing for 3 weeks!
Has anyone had any experience with a muscle tear in the inner thigh?
My boy came in from the field unable to walk on his hind legs and seemed really unbalanced. On closing looking we found a large hematoma on this inside of his thigh, vet was called and advised complete box rest and he would...
Horse on our yard has one and it's been really successful. Horse concerned no longer kicks the walls Interestingly he knows when it's not there tho!
I have the black Volants and competed last weekend in the BD area festivals in them, with no comments or problems! Super comfy boots and my feet didn't over heat! I have insulated ariats normally to compete in but didn't want to boil, great for the winter but not so great in the summer...
I have recently started using the Husk boots on my boy, he loves to hoon around the field and I was worried about his legs over heating. The boots are great although the price for a set of four is a little pricey, even today with temperatures need 35 his legs where lovely and cool...
Hi All, a shamless plug to ask you to vote for my friends little girl on facebook, Lucy would love to win the competition on Emily Cole's facebook page but in order to win she needs lots of votes for her photo, the winning Shetland will be turned into a cartoon model :)
