I only really see people using grease at Intermediate or above when I go to events. I heard that your not meant to grease the chest (only the front of the legs) as this can interfere with the horses sweating. We always use gel or ice boots as we are lucking enough to have a lorry with freezer...

If you strip the baling twine in half or less before you tie it, it is much safer. ;)

try standing up in the saddle without gripping with knees and then sit down as you turn the corner to the fence - still dont grip with your knees. then as you take off for the fence stand up in your stirrups like you did in canter rather than folding over the fence. i hope this will help you but...

a different type of smalll horsesboxes company gave me a leaflet at blenhiem. they are called alexanders based in york but will pick u up from the airport or trianstation though and theey are cheaper that equitrek if u gat a pre-owned chassis. i have also heard of problems with equitreks! hope...

:)elevator are the best but are a little more £150 order online from horsesense. my mum had hers for 20 years until the horse galloped off with it between it legs !!! really good quality english leather hough and havannah is a nice clour halfway between black and brown! hope this helps

i used a pessoa and thought it was quite comfy and good quality. i ahd it bout 2 1/2 yrs and then decided to get a bates caprilli. our saddle fitter showed us the gullet on the pessoa when he took it out and it was all crooked - the saddel had never been fallen on or dropped!! also my ponies...

i have heard of a horse slicing htrough it leg becuase the wraps it had on didnt offer any protection against a horseshoe. dalmar ones are good but are quite expensive i usually good woof wear brusing boots as they offer protection and arent that pricey!
