What a lovely tribute. Well done to both you and Herbie. How proud you must be to know that your gut instinct was right. Your patience and kindness has truly paid off.
This is why I am loathe to turn my field over even though it really needs it but I would never forgive myself if my horses contracted grass sickness - I would always wonder what if I hadn't done that.....
I have a pair of Aqua Cats. They are warm and waterproof. Made from a beatheable, waterproofed leather. I have had them many, many years and I don't see them for sale any more but I'm going to have to investigate that in the near future as the dog has chewed the top of one of them.
If everyone had this attitude nothing anywhere would get done. People have to be made aware of what is going on and a forum is one of the ways to do it.
I know this is probably on here somewhere... However has anyone used a Micklem bridle especially bitless I would be interested in your views regarding it. I'm thinking of getting one.
Me too, amongst everything else I could throw at him! This kind of thing really gets my back up!
This ignorant ***** wants reporting to the police; hopefully he'll need help one day and everyone will just pass him by!
My cob is unclipped and just has a lightweight rug on in the wet weather. The only time I'll rug him up indoors if it drops below zero for several days and the forecast is for the same and when the east wind blow into his stable in winter.
Very true. When I made a complaint about a reckless driver and gave make, reg and colour of car they almost moaned that they would now have to follow it up. Errr yeah.
Never heard back from them - surprise, surprise
Agree! I have my own place and there are many more pros than cons but it does get lonely at times especially when you want to share something with someone equally equine minded.
