Have to agree that a standing with elastic insert would deffinately do the trick for hacking out. Standing martingales only begin to become a problem if you are jumping bigger fences as they restrict the horses natural ability to stretch and take away jump

We used to have a pony who suffered with red worm and we used to feed her red cell as well as worming regularly to prevent her becoming anemic ( when we bought her she was very badly anemic ) We never had a problem after that

i would only use the sheepskin one the fake ones are as good / don't last as long I have a william funnel one which i use all the time on top of a numnah i would also reccomend equestrian clearnace as they have some cheap ones

Yeah it was suggested that it was moving to peterborough, but i have since heard that it is going to stay at staffs showground for 08 at least

I jump one or two shows a week varying on one or two classes a show they jump most weekends unless there arent any shows to go to or horse/rider is lame/ill they usually get 2 weeks holiday after scope (no riding at all) and another few days over xmas
