I currently work in Social Work - have done for 10 years but its so draining I want to look at other options and career changes now.

Been offered a fantastic opportunity to work abroad on a 2 year contact. Had an extremely terrible year so I'm keen to get some space and try a new challenge but I don't know what to do with my horse.
Ideally I'd like his part loaner to take him on but she's at uni so has commitments and time...
Just wondering if anyone plays it on here...?
I really want to learn and join a good club house which has a good social life too....im based in berkshire...
any info would be cool...

thanks everyone - he does have other horses near him which is good....I am letting him sniff her once she is gone so he knows what has happened....
He will be my only horse and does tend to rely on people - so ill just make sure I go and give him lots of hugs...
Just wondering as my youngster is really attached to my old mare and Im concerned about how he is going to react after she is gone....
what do people do when their horses companions are put to sleep, is it best to leave them out - what about stabling...?
Any info would be great...

well unfortunately the time has come to say goodbye to my sweet little old pony - she has been a part of my life for over 20 years and was my first pony...I trully adore her and she will be very much missed...she babysat my youngster, was brilliant with children and I had a great time with her...

The vet saw her - god knows how much this is going to all cost!!
Basically she has severe athritius in her back legs and hips and looks soar in both legs with heat and she has a bronchitius infection which the vet has given me powders to put into...
My old pony is still ill - some of you may remember last week I called out the vet because my old mare of 18 yrs was flat out, weezy and lame....
the vet believed at first she had colic but believed in fact she may have bronchitus and a virus, possibly splint in her hind leg which was causing...
im pretty lucky and dont hit roads...I ride on 600 acres of farmland which my horse for some reason finds difficult....he seems to enjoy road work!! Open spaces drive him nuts...although its always good fun to have a good gallop to calm him down a little....
Not too sure what peoples views are on here about this but I took mine out with me today and I found it did nothing but give me confidence and relaxed me...
my youngster can be difficult and has become nappy when crossing a wide open field....he rears slightly at times and I do feel my heart...
