I am afraid you are wrong.
It is up to the seller/ Breeder if it is a business to make sure the goods they are selling are as described and fit for the job they are sold for and the buyer is protected by the law.
If she was sold and was not up to standard and the seller did not notice, it is...
Does anyone else smell troll? Quote from Glos girl

When I was trying to descibe a problem that I put up on good faith to reveice a comment that I was LYING!!!!
Why would I bother??? This is a web site after all, its not as if I know anyone, what would...
Sorry, but you are wrong, the vet, told me she was almost 100% sure they were there prior to me getting the horse and her belief were that they were transferable by mare rather than hereditary.
I take her word oevr some numpty on this web site anyday!
To all the people who thought they could smell "Tolly" (class!!) I found this little exert from the HORSE AND hOUND ITSELF!
In fact as I was sold the horse and the seller was part of a business I am protected under normal consumer rights and Sarcoids are not only unhealthy but can spread and...
Well thanks for your comments, just read one of your problems..
Sounds like you are way to precious, if you are on a livery yard you have to expect your horse to get turned out with others.
All the horses at the yard are precious to the people who own them, why is yours so bloomin special...
Hiya
My boy has just been diagnosed with Low ringbone. I was eventing him all summer season last year, then we went hunting and he felt a little short, I stopped and when we went to walk off, he was totally hopping lame. I got him back to the horsebox and cut a long story short, he has low...
Sorry to hear about the horse you bought had the missed sarcoid...
Yes I agree vets not infalable, I agree he may have missed the sarcoids.. This is why I asked the breeder to swap the horses, I am paying to do everything, change the horses, pay for the transportation etc.
I am surprosed...
I guess you are right...
most people at my yard who know me and the horse, have said to me they think she shoud take the horse back, but I have not asked her to do that. I am swapping with another horse, at an extra cost of 2.5k, not including vetting and transporting the horse back to her and...
I had the horse for a month and decided something was not right, by that time she was handled enough to get blood out of her..
Why the question?
What are you trying to say??
The horse is 3/4 yrs, its not completly handled, ie she is sensitive in her back area and no feet picking up without...
To last posted, yes groomed the horse, the sarcoids are between its legs, it is unbroken and the coat is thick as it did not have a rug on over the winter as this is the practice with young horses and some breeders.
No I did not expect the horse to be totally handled, but a small breeder should...
Shame I did'nt come to you first rather than wasting my money on 2 crook horses! I would'nt have asked for a saddle either!! LOL!
Good luck at getting to grass roots, looks like allot of fun to do, I would be pretty stocked if I could get there!!:D
Never heard of tack coming with a horse unless its stated, strange they thought it all comes together, perhaps they think tack was handed to the breeder out of the mares backside when it was born!! LOL!:D
Thanks, sorry to hear about your horse, yes those are exactly like my horses, just round fur, some have black thicker skin in them also..
I did not know they were hereditary, nor that they were triggered by stress, so thanks for that. This really means that the vet should have noticed, but her...
