He doesn’t wear a rug , thank you for all saying take the rug off but there isn’t one, he wears a rain sheet on the worse days but he runs so hot he gets full clip and by end of December of pulling his rain sheet off

ok so quick back story
on Sunday night/Monday morning chance got out of his field and was spotted by a local gas man on the way to a call out who phoned the police, who in turn got a hold of the yard manager and me!
3 hours later he was found in a not far away field having the time of his life...
so i havnt been on in quiet a wile
ill be honest alot has changed and a lot still is changing
chance has moved yards and is now at a large livery yard on part livery, this way he always has company when out although they go out in induvial paddocks, but he has neighbours who he is often been...

I have heard from a couple of the local farmers the island soil is low in magnesium in general and unfortunately that map doesn’t want to recognise us !
so think I will go with the balancer and see, if he continues to go down it will...

I wrote on here a wile along (with in the last month) about Chance being difficult to lead, turns out he appears to be at his worse in wind, which is odd for a horse that’s lived out 2 winters!!
many way I have noticed he is sluggish in work...
so chance can got a bit bullish to lead
does get speed but clearly knows he is bigger then you and will use it against you all in the add of more food!

So little update vet has been today and she’s 100% sure it’s the washing powder (bad mum here!)
so I have been given an iodine wash to blotch on to it, stay in to keep dry, pain killers til Friday And maybe just a few treats you know to help with the healing.
