I can’t remember where but I’m sure I had read that grackles are one of the better shapes of noseband for avoiding the sensitive structures within the face (maybe this is why they’re becoming so popular?)

I’ve got a pair of Morettas (not the same style), and they’ve been going for a few years and still look/feel great. I do however only wear them for riding - put them on before I tack up and off again when putting tack away.
Also wouldn’t go for the cookies in this situation. I’ve found they can be a little helpful for providing more thinking power but no use in situations that are stressful/exciting. I used to use the magic calmer syringes and they worked well. May be worth trying the feed supplement?
Worth trying out the newer style body protectors. They have gotten a lot better recently and are far more comfortable than they used to be!
