    Jin stirrup conundrum

My new pair of Jin stirrups arrived today, have been very excitedly waiting for them for 2 weeks. Got home and tore the packet open like a small child to find they aren't quite what I ordered! :-( I ordered plain green and have got green with purple treads. Now these are pretty don't get me...

Sprenger Bow Balance & Leg position? (Also in Tack Room).

Hi Guys, Just after some thoughts on the above please? I have 2 sets of these, 1 on my GP/Jump and 1 on my dressage saddle. I bought them because I used to suffer quite badly with ankle pain when riding for an hour or more. My ankles seem to collapse out from the side. Now since I have had the...

HELP I can't use my legs lol?

Thanks Muddy_grey & oldie48, Great advice from both of you and glad to know I am not a complete numpty lol. Muddy_grey - I will try the downwards transitions the way you suggested as being so forward it is hard not to back off on those. Oldie48, yes I am 99.9% sure that's what my boy does...

HELP I can't use my legs lol?

Thanks Muckypony, Yes I am finding it quite exhausting lol, was really quite surprised at how hard it is to deal with. I will try your idea of leaving the leg on gently and see how he takes to it. He is very responsive to voice thankfully, just not to the point of 'please do a 20m circle at C'...

HELP I can't use my legs lol?

Thanks Shay, yes he is exactly like that! My last horse was very different, so I guess it will just take a while to get used to it lol. I have been just using seat, position etc, I just need to get better at it. Early days. :-)

HELP I can't use my legs lol?

Hi all, Just after some tips please? I bought a new ponio about 3 months ago and he is an absolute angel. Safe as houses, perfect nature and just generally an all round dude! He was previously mainly used for show jumping and I am more of a dressage diva, so we are currently doing some...

    Rug dilema!

Tallyho - Ha ha ha, trust me if I had the funds I'd be in a shopping frenzy right now but, really can't afford to go buying all new stuff. I'm very lucky that he wears the same size saddle! Annagain - They are all horseware rugs, mostly amigos I think. Not sure if they tend to be generous or...

    Rug dilema!

Good afternoon all, quick question about rugs and sizing. :-)] I am in the process of purchasing a new horse and am wondering if all the gubbins I have from my previous horse are likely to fit him. Old ponio was in 7ft rugs and this one wears 6'9. Do you think I will get away with it as he...

Honey08 - Am actually in the process of doing that. However, seems they have advertised on lots of website, so could take a while. :-/

    Too good to be true

Ha ha ha SadKen very good! I have already suggested that I arrange transport through my own choice of company and if the correct horse arrives pay them a good will gesture of £1000. If I get a reply to that, I will suggest it lol. ;-)
