    St Giles, nr Wimborne

Hello. I realise this is a fairly old post, but I’ve only just seen it! I am about to place my youngster there to be turned away for the winter on full grass livery. It’s a bit of a leap of faith as I’ve not been able to find any feedback either. However, the horses looked fit and well...

    3.5t van conversions

That’s something I hadn’t thought of. Good point!

    3.5t van conversions

Thanks. I’ve just looked at Equisport. Not sure if I like the low canopy top door in the photos. However, that may just be the photo! Also, as I’m on the south coast, they are far too far away sadly. Thanks for your input though.

Thank you so much. That’s the conclusion I have come to as well.

    3.5t van conversions

Thanks, that’s another one struck off the list! I know what you mean about warranty. They are sometimes a bit misleading. It is usually the conversion itself rather than the chassis that’s covered.

    3.5t van conversions

Haha, you’re so right! Having now done lots of research, I’m favouring three counties horseboxes, as previous reviews have all been positive. I’d love to hear from anyone who has bought from them recently, though, just to confirm that they’re still as good as they were!

    3.5t van conversions

Thanks. I’ll look up Equibabe. Have you had to spend a fortune on maintenance? What made you remove the partition?

    3.5t van conversions

As I can’t find any recent posts on this subject, I’m wondering what those of you who have the van type horseboxes think of them. I’m only intending to travel one 15.2h at any one time. Also wondering which are the best companies who do conversions. I’ve heard good things about three counties...

    Yard advice!!

I agree with the others about livery yards which also have a riding school. Access to the schools is usually very restricted as riding school clients definitely get priority. Having been on two such yards I personally wouldn't do so again.

    Bedding

I've used all types of bedding over the years and now use Aquamax which I find is by far the best.

    Anyone in Guernsey?

I was born and brought up in Guernsey, although haven't lived there for many years. However, I am still very familiar with the island as we have frequent holidays there. My mother had a horse and we were lucky enough to have our own small field to keep it in. She converted our garage into a...

    Remedial training for problem horse

Many thanks for the link. My vet said he knows such places exist but suggested I did a Google search. Haven't asked Physio yet, but am hoping someone might have first hand experience of somewhere suitable.

    Remedial training for problem horse

Can anyone recommend a yard preferably in Dorset/Hampshire areas, which specialises in remedial training for problem horses? We have a lovely horse (mare) who has had SI and poll problems, which have been treated. Our vet says she is no longer in pain, but she will not allow anyone on her...
