She is stunningAt just over 4 months old, Ana went on her first trip this week, to the Northern Ireland Horse Board foal show, stood to be plaited, loaded and travelled like a pro. Behaved really well there (loved to show off in front of an audience) and was placed third in the eventing class, delighted as more than 40 foals there

Mylo is exactly 8 weeks old today. And - hurrah - his legs are sorted! Mr High Maintenance had FIVE people to see him today (3 from farrier, 2 from vets. - Though that did include a student vet and farrier. He is obviously an interesting boy!)
Still needs a bit more trimming from the awesome farriery team But he is basically all good. And he has been told he can have FREEDOM!! Both he and Amber are very relieved.

He is HUUUUGE. Very long legs. Vet and farrier both said he looks super-smart and will be very saleable. So I am wondering whether Felix is the better bet for me. He is 12hh at 8 weeks. Whereas Felix ia 14hh at 18 months. No idea what that means for Mylo but I am assuming 17HH +

I’ve failed to mention River , she is an absolute tank . But has the most adorable nature . She does have some serious facial hair going on though 
4 months old and growing really nicely . Only 12.2 so I don’t think she’s going to be massive which is a relief !
Rocky is 12hands so a touch smaller , I’m hoping they both stay under 16.2 .

Weaning all done and dusted for us, foal has settled really well in a big barn with a nanny and 8 other foals, she and her chestnut buddy are inseparable!! Mum clipped and back to hacking, hopefully a dressage test ot two before Christmas and back jumping in Jan with some luck

Eventually weaned today, got a bit delayed due to a weanling coming in from the continent needing quarantine.
But went perfectly today - Millie out with a herd on opposite side of road/property, jiggled a bit on the way down but didn’t look back or call once
Meanwhile Coco and her buddy left in stable called a handful of times but now completely relaxed as if they had never had a mother at all.

Just squeaked this one into 2023
Bred in the purple!
Very excited that he is a colt, he is super friendly and looks to be doing everything right!
We have one more due, most likely at Christmas, so I'll be home this year ❤
