Oh that's a shame, we had one that scanned in foal before she came back from the stallion, time went on, everyone was convinced they could see movement (except me) but no foal arrived, she must have slipped it early onslightly concerned about Pip. Ive had my niggles thats shes not in foal. daughter and i have convinced ourselves weve seen foal movement, But in all honesty what weve seen could be gut movement. Her udders are not progessing and the size they are could easily be due to the grass. Her back end is the roundest /firmest its been. Then this morning i turned her out and she started squirting and winking at the others. So vet is booked for this afternoon to check.
she should be 334 days![]()

She’s not in foal , must have slipped it away back .
A fair bit of oedema too . She will need to go in for monitoring if we recover her . Which if I’m honest I don’t think we will .
Time to bring her back into work
Thank you . Leaves me in a bit of a quandary as I like to run 2 foals together !That’s so sad. I’m sorry![]()
Sorry to hear this. Similar thing happened to a friend recently as well. We were going to have our mares and foals turned out together so I am in the same position.Thank you . Leaves me in a bit of a quandary as I like to run 2 foals together !
